Who has a pool?

Post by Hermskii » Thu May 15, 2014 12:45 am

I bought a rubber above ground pool at the end of last year. It is An Intex 18' x 48" round pool that holds 5,455 gallons of water. I love it! Let's talk.

Mine was on sale.

I had one of those about 12 years ago, it wouldn't stay put in my yard no matter what I did - so I gave it to my daughter and her kids - they loved it!

What do you mean it would not stay put? Mine weighs about 32,000 pounds. Nothing will move it short of a tornado.

Gravity!
It moved my pool big time.
Moved it and all its water all over LOL
I just couldn't get it level is all, as at the time, I lived on a bluff.

mine is off by about two to three inches on one side. you don't ever notice until the pool is almost overflowing full. Then it is easy to see that one side is higher than the other. If I take out about 5 inches of water you can't tell there is a high side. I say I did pretty good on my first attempt of leveling before I put up the pool.

No, not a bad job at all. :)

My whole pool took off from a level spot in my yard and down a long hill, 2 or three times, before I decided I'd give the pool to my grandkids.
