I decided not to bury this young artist in the You Tube thread or my "Canadian Rock" thread. She deserves her own.
I first heard about this girl the other day on the CBC where the rock 'n roll reporter waxed eloquently on and on about Ayla Tesler-Mabe and her awesome talent. She is 22 now, and has her own band. But the video he showed was one that she posted to You Tube 7 years ago when she was 15. It's an awesome rendition of Led Zeppelin's "Since I've been loving you", from their 1st album.

Her rendition nearly brought tears to my eyes. I hope Jimmy Page has become aware of her talent. She did him proud!

Geez, I hope some few of you guys at least, have watched this video. I'm ready to elevate this girl to guitar goddess stature. Jimmy Page's legacy of music sure is safe in this girl's hands.

In case some of you are wondering how/why I named this thread the way I did, -or just think I'm nuts- here's a link to a book I discovered several years ago and have re-read a number of times.
It's quite amazing. Some of the anecdotes will blow you away. EG: One parent sent in a story about her less than seven year old son who got to talking to some World War One veterans, and went on to discuss how to field strip and reassemble a Lewis gun.
There are of course many more examples, ranging over quite a few different experiences. I recommend this book to everyone.

OKAY TAKE WARNING:

Firefox has suddenly become upset with the link to the first video in my thread opening post of April 26, 2023, so don't use this old link for the time being at least.

Well it may be just Firefox that is being overly touchy again.
Or maybe not.

While it warns against a specific website that may be toxic regarding the links in this thread, I have noticed lately that Firefox is no longer happy with any of the "sponsored" links that come up when you Google something you want to look up. The warning is different, but it still won't take you to the website. However, if you scroll down to an unsponsored link for the same company, you can go straight there with no complaints from Firefox.
Yesterday I tried to go to the Honda Canada website, but Firefox blocked the "sponsored" link. But the "unsponsored" link down the page worked fine.

We all know that Google likes to spy on its users, (and that Google Chrome is composed of pure spyware), so perhaps Mozilla is just trying to stop all that with their Firefox browser.

But as to Firefox blocking the links in this thread claiming that they'll take you to a toxic website; I'm not sure what's up with that, so I'm just going straight to You Tube and searching for the videos I want to see in there.

Well, oddly enough, the first link in this thread wasn't blocked today, and I got straight to the video.
But then another link I tried was blocked. Hmmmm.......

You should try to connect using a different PC and then a different browser. I can get to the links with no issue on any browser. In other words, the issue is strictly yours. It is either that PC or that browser. Good luck! Yes, GOOGLE SUX and you can directly blame their leadership.

Yes, google sux! If I copy and paste the web address straight into the browser, it goes right to the video.
I've suspected for some time now that the problem is at my end. I think I know what it is. I won't be so paranoid from now on.
