Sorry
Sorry but no. I almost agree with Kort but I must insist that it be a Pentium 4 at least or at least a speed of 2,500 mhz. I think you can get a Dell for around $600. Just don't get a Celeron processor.

Well to look for one & for an affordable price, one can look at getting a second hand unit or find some deals on Ebay (although would need a grown-up to set up an account to get it).
Of course the newer ones are made with dual core processors, but for just running good old UT(99), then one would have to disable one of the processors to make it run properly (since that's the way it was made for back then). So I would say a pent 3 would do (if just for UT, other older games & music), but for any of the newer games (including UT3) coming out, a pent 4 or equivalent is a must.
Check out this vid on UT3!

If you plan on getting it, pre-order it from here & save a bit on it too.
They also got the Collector's Edition too.

Hahaha
Hahahaha. I can still play this new game on my old computer. I'm on a 2.6Ghz AMD processor. I have a GB of PC2700 ram. I have a ATI XL800 GTO video card. There is plenty of space for the game on my HDD. I'm shocked this old KT400 system of mine is still getting it done. I won't be buying this version of UT. This will be the first one that I didn't get. Why should I? I just keep coming back to good old UT99. Still, it's nice to know I can get it if I want. I'll pull down the demo at some point and check it out. If I like it, I'll buy it. If not, I'll be right back to good old UT99! Later. Great posting everyone BTW!

I have obviously not been keeping up with this thing. I am dumbfounded.
The reviews i have read where not overwhelming. I wish i could play the demo. I basicly need a new graphics card, and a new prossesor.

Well this was going to happen sooner or later. CPU speed or number of cores aren't going to matter as much as if your running a Physics engine.
Did anyone look at the recomended physics card for the game?
http://www.ageia.com/pdf/ds_product_overview.pdf
Soon you'll buy systems with physics chip(s) on the MB
I also think you'll see this in the next gen of game systems. PS3 is useing a 6 core processor to keep up with game/physics processing.
