The BN Skinchanger Mod

Scify told me last night that I can upload a file to the forum server. I noticed the option in the past I suppose, but never really thought about it. So thank you Scify, once again you have come through for me and the membership at large.

Every now and then I am asked where I got the skin that I use. Then I have to explain that it is the original version of the BN Skinchanger mod, and that the author removed it from general circulation after he had gotten numerous complaints from server admins that it is a "cheat" since a couple of the skins are really dark. (This is such a laugh, as they are so much brighter than anything that is used on most sniper servers.)
Anyhow, remove it he did, so I shall give a try to posting it here. Be warned that using this mod may prevent you from playing on certain servers that are heavily into an anti cheat mode of operation. But you won't have any problems at the redeemer and MH servers, so that is good.

nameless, let me toss this caveat in too:

Having that mod installed is a bannable offense in a lot of servers. If you add it to your packages, you might consider removing it to play at-large pub servers. Admins often exchange ban lists so it could possibly hurt you if you like to server-shop.

I'm with you on this nameless too. There are way worse things, but the mod ban lists aren't made by me

Everytime I see Nameless's name or his skin on my or any server I feel like I've gone back to a better time. Thanks Nameless for that cool feeling I get when ever you are around.

Yes it is. It just uses textures from the game for the skins.

I would guess that this little mod accomplishes the same thing as the "Skin Codes" that you can change your skin to using the Stock UT textures?
Only this mod makes it easy.

I just learned recently that Harley Davidson is introducing a 500cc and 750cc liquid cooled engine that they call the "Revolution X". Fascinating!

What has this got to do with the BN Skinchanger mod? Why nothing, nothing at all.

I found a potential client for this mod tonight at MHM. So...... *bump*

Geez what a time to be old:

Polaris buys out the owners and totally reinvents the Indian motorcyles the way they should have been all along. No more Harley clones dressed up as Indians! Awesome!

Harley Davidson is (wisely) slowly moving to all liquid cooled products. The new Revolution X motors are liquid cooled. The V Rods always were. And now some, and eventually all, of the twin cam engines have liquid cooling for the exhaust valves. I predict that eventually the entire big twin motor will be a liquid cooled unit.

Exciting times ahead!
