Windows7 + UT + UTDC = Crash!

Looks like if your OS is Windows7 and you are about to join a server running the UTDC anticheat your UT will crash. Luckily that's not my case yet but anyway any ideas?

That's one more reason for me to dislike UTDC, the worst anticheat tool ever made for UT, which forces you to install additional DLLs, crashes your demos, crashes your UT if you're using Win7 and cause extra lag on the server.

It wasn't MY choice - and {CLD}'s owner had already put it in, but FYI - {CLD} is (currently) running UTDCv21.
I've never had a problem myself and know virtually Nothing about UTDC.
But, Does it really cause all those problems? (mainly the lag)

Well I'm not 100% sure about the lag since my ADSL is not that reliable, but the rest is true. The real problem is that's the only anticheat tool still under development unfortunately.

Well, maybe they will fix the Win7 problem and Demo problem - hopefully!
It is probably something to do with the differences in how Win7 is Addressed by UTDC as opposed to the older OS's.

it only crashes on the 64bit version works fine with the 32bit but we changed our server from utdc to the new ace program and it works fine for both versions of win7

not that i heard of its caught some peeps cheating v6 is out v7 should be out when anthrax gets it finished we have had plenty of win7 users on the server without any problems
