The thing is, somebody got the file and now some French site has the DownLoad URL for it. :roll:
Maybe I'll post it there with some info as to what it is Really for!

This is *exactly* why I always grant full permissions in my mods. It doesn't matter if you like it or not, it's gonna get shared if it's good stuff. At least it wasn't renamed without credits :roll: .


wow, looking around the site this guy has "borrowed" everything. It doesn't look like he's altering stuff, just saving it and offering the downloads.

I'm site-ripping him now ;)

Sounds like the french group that stole my way to make S3TC textures work and re-wrote them just enough to make it sound like they did all of the work. I wasn't mentioned at all. It only bugs me because they swore they would not do exactly what they did. I'm over it though. Do not kill them. I repeat: Do not kill them.

If it makes you feel better the textures have turned into a complete mess. I was reading today at UA about the them STILL having problems with frozen players and lag. Diehard is doing more damage than good, I wish he would stop.

Someone should say that the so-called S3TC textures and also those compressed (smaller in size) textures for server installations cause players to be stuck and/or skating. Never use them on a server!

Yes, I keep reading here and there about admins STILL thinking that they should install these Client-side Only textures on their servers! :shock:
I usually correct them when I am able. :roll:

Any UT server admins out there reading this - DON'T install the so-called S3TC textures and also those compressed (smaller in size) textures on your UT Servers! - Do NOT! :P

I don't get it... It works exactly like the BotPack.LowGravity mutator. What are the differences? Please explain me. :|

Hold on for a second, the LowGrav mutator does destroy all JumpBoots in a map, while the PirateGrav does not. Right? Or at least that's the only difference I was able to find in the source code... Now what's the point in having those JumpBoots, I don't know.

I haven't even looked at the source code (YET) but Yes, PirateGrav basically allows pickups such as JumpBoots - Specifically.
PirateDeemerCMM has "MyJumpBoots" built into it is the reason.
(I just get a kick out of MyJumpBoots - No pun intended)
I just wanted a Pure LowGravity with no stipulations about it. :wink:
So, PirateGrav was born and Gopo was the Stork LOL. :lol:

Pots I never wrote a readme because this was never supposed to be released as a mod. Hook asked me for it, and I wrote it for him to use. Anything I make is public, but anything I make for someone it becomes up to them whether or not to make it public. I'd appreciate asking him for permissions before you keep it as a download. I have no problems, but it's not my call.
