URGENT ISSUE***

HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS BEFORE, I CAN'T NAVIGATE MENUS IN UNREAL TOURNAMENT, THIS IS BEFORE AND AFTER INSTALLATION, TRIED COMPATIBILITY MODE STILL THE SAME, NO LUCK

My first look at this just told me that you have some INT files missing. But this can happen also if there are U files called by INT missing. An "operator" can see fast where is from this trouble :)).

Make sure to restore everything in your recycle bin, just in case you deleted stuff. Also, when was the alst time you rebooted your computer? Some folks just leave them on forever and sometimes you really need it done up fresh.

I changed nothing but the resolution from 1200 to 1920*1080 and was working fine then don't know what happened I did not delete anything but the unrealtournament.ini thinking that was the problem so it would create a new .ini, still no luck, I then reinstalled using hermskii's copy still the same no text on the drop down menus and uninstalled then I downloaded my copy same issue. I even tried running it off the USB stick and same issue, this is interesting, wonder if it is my video card.

Fixed, issue was in the ati settings I just set them to default

ATI settings? You didn't buy a Nvidia card? What setting does that to a game?

I went with the Radeon HD 6850, not sure what setting did that but here are the possible culprits-
1. Anti-Aliasing 2x-8x
2.Anisotropic Filtering 2x-16x
3. Texture Filtering Quality
4. Wait for vertical refresh
5. Anti-aliasing mode
6. OpenGL settings - Triple buffering
