OK, I added this section to the forum so that we can hopefully grow and learn from some of the best at some of the other forums. Many of them visit here anyways so why not have a place for them to share the goodness? Well, here it is. Enjoy!

We should collaberate Hook!

PM me with a list of subjects you have tuts for. I have some as well we should compile them and use the best ones.

I plan on writing a ED2 for noobs tutorial. Would you help me write it?

Schweeeeeeet! Make that tut for total noobs Kort and I may have a single chance in hell to actually make a map. None of it makes any sense to me perhaps because I thought the process would be so much different and easier than it turned out for me on my first try. Help a brother out and write it super-duper easy ok?

Sounds good!

I have quite a few tutorials I made for my site(s) that are old but still very Pertinent!
I think that we can post what we have - then either one of us can reply to a like subject with a like tutorial as in with 2 viewpoints if you will!
Say I post a lighting tutorial, go ahead and reply with another lighting tutorial that may be a bit different.
That is OK!
That way the viewer can look at both and decide which one (or both) to follow!

Is that OK with you?
We can always edit them as we go, but we do not necessarily have to post just one of each tutorial???
It would be easier I think than trying to co-write them all.

But Post a New Topic for Each tutorial type - like lighting - movers - etc.

PS: I posted my first tutorial - actually more like Tips for Mappers!
I will post more as time goes on - not all at once!

The reason i think we should not get post happy is , i have read five tuts on Vertex editing. Only one of the were correct. The other four were Wrong. I was amazed.
I don't want anyone to be posting bad information.
In general there should be no conflicting information so no reason for two tuts.
Just some tuts are written better then others. Why not use the simplest and the best.

I know i have read many and some did not help at all. Some helped allot.

Be that as it may but I just don't have the time to re-write all the tutorials.
I have read several on many subjects and have found that often there are more than one way of doing something that is tit-for-tat so to speak or your preference.
If something doesn't work, I wouldn't post it.
I only post what I have found best.
