Answer
Those who lag out should really try to find another to play on. Mine is long running and deserves to have fast connecting players but I don't want to ever forget the modem players as many are originals. So, I don't care for the mod being if they so bad as you mentioned as an example, I REALLY don't want them to play and they shouldn't anyway being their lag has to effect their playing.
I'm considering hurting some feelings here pretty soon. I can block all players with any ping but I think a fair number is 350. Last time I was burned at the stake but this time I might be stronger. C'mon peeps, there has to be some type of high speed available.

Yup cought his spamming today did warn him and he left but he came back under a few other names you may have to stamp on this one hermskii ..MEAT wrote:You need to get out more on your server and see what is going on Hermskii.
His big thing is to repeat the same chit over and over and over and over.
Plus, here is just a small sample of his cuteness.
And if anyone here has anything else to add?
Kellogs_cornflakes
cg's_windowlickers
0161_330_7979 (this might be his phone no lol)

On it!
I'm on it folks. Give me a day or two and keep giving me his names. I was actually witness to his first banning by darkmanner who did everything perfect. There is another admin in the loop now too who plays often so that person will be a big help too. Keep me up to date. Thanks!

Changing his name is not a problem theres ways around that.MEAT wrote:The problem is he changes his name day to day game to game.
I kicked his azz after 1 warning and 3 !!! games of his bull chit.
Then I left. If you don't ban he will never leave.
I usually give about 3 warnings on screen depending on map if its a smaller map that gets loads of kill messages i either dont bother till next map or spam it , then i give one or two kicks that gives them far more warning then they need after that if there still doing it just ban them...

Ahh ok. I'll leave it to you guys then. I haven't played UT in over a week. I got sucked into a MMORPG based on the Unreal 2 engine, and have been wandering around in a beautiful world full of magic and monsters for about 5 weeks now.

I'm a man........but I can change........if I have to........I guess

I saw Darkmatter on CG with "Kellogs Cornflakes" via UT-Check, so I decided to drop in. But Dark was gone by the time I got in. One player kept asking if Kellogs was going to apologize for swearing despite Darkmatter's absence.
I must say that I only saw Mr. Cornflakes say "fock" once? or a few times, but he did spam a lot at the end of one map. At the start of the next map I logged in as a server admin, but he was already there, and may have noticed. He disappeared before I could get his IP. Ah well, that's that undercover name blown. I guess I'll just have to dust off one of my other ones. My finger was almost on the trigger, but he didn't quite rate a ban today in any event. But he is pushing his luck.
Please post his IP if you have it, so I can verify when it's him.

Thanks go to Darkmatter and Meat. This guy has probably got a multiple IP account at his ISP. All the numbers were the same that Dark and Meat gave me, except the last 3. 143 v.s. 167
Or does the change in the last 3 numbers mean one of those "dynamic" accounts? One thing for sure, his ping was way too low for him to be on 56k.

OK
Here is the last IP I was told this guy had:
86.143.20.74
Chances are that this person has a PC or several PCs on a lan at home or work. When I get home this Sunday from Fort Worth where I am now I'll ban this player. Thank you.
