Yes, I'd like to play....AFTER I'm able to play UT online...having comp./UT compatibility issues now.....I'd also like to know how they determine who plays who, unless it's random, etc.....

Actually there is not a rush to sign up for this event.
People are not beating down my door to play
so there is a good chance it will never take place.
And it's really no big deal, it was just an idea. And if you think about
it there would only be a hand full of people that would sign up.
At this time most people that play at my server are "guests" here.
So until it happens we'll just keep talking about it.

No, not a big deal....hell, i can't even play at all right now....i have a bigger monitor now, so went in to change the resolution, but that wasnt it either...i'll figure it out with process of elimination.

Is it hooked up the same way your old PC was?
Can you still play on your old PC if you reconnect again?

My PC has XP and it works...but not on all games...it could be?
But I'll stick with router as the problem.

It's the same Windows (XP Professional) - it worked on other comp. with router hooked up, so....it's not just an online issue, my comp. is shutting down UT even in Preferences, etc...

I think a tournament could work quite easily. and we WILL get the numbers cuz ill hassle EVERYONE to signup.

how about writing up one of those lil in game messages sayin "hey! tornament comming up! get yo ass to the forum and sign up!"

and MAYBE call the thread ....i dunno....MRS TOURNAMENT SIGNUP?

I did have a mention going for a while but had no response.
Again, most people playing my server are "guest" here at the forum.
They never post and they never want to get better.

I can always add again...but if you think about it we only have a few
regulars interested.
Plus different people play at different times. It might be hard
to get a 2 on 2 match going?

I can see who is logged in at this forum at any given time and let me say that "Google" marketing bots are here all of the time. About 20 at any given moment as near as I can tell. 20 of them at once and all from the same IP Address. I finally decided to look it up and do a "Trace Route and a Whois" on the IP and damn if it isn't "Google" bots. So don't think these are mostly or usually real people. They are programs 99% of the time.
