Server Help

Alright, I'm not an avatar or sig maker, but I was just bored and added some fliters to Kort's basic avatar(after deleting the address and moving the MHM words down using basic Microsoft Paint.)

The filters were added with Adobe Photoshop CS3(a $1000 program that I hacked, be proud Uncle Herm, you taught me well.)

Doesn't matter now, but thanks for those anyways. I already did it & tested it out. I just need to send the .utx file, but in whatever method Herm prefers (pity this site doesn't have an upload feature enabled).
Just a note also, once the file is added into the texture folder on the server, just need to add in the line in the UT.ini under [Engine.GameEngine] ServerPackages=MHM & in the MapVoteLA.ini LogoTexture=MHM.MHMlogo . Plus above that line, add in for MapVoteTitle= Welcome to (so it'll match up well with the given initial textured picture). Could have something else other than 'Welcome to', like "You're playing on", etc. if you want Herm.

P.S.- As long as I get a reply back (even as a PM), this thread could be closed (not needed to really). BTW, it's just for the small blank spot for the MapVoteLA, not this site's "avatar" (there's a thread for it already, but is on hold as per Herm's last post).

I'll give you final on this tonight. I like the 2nd version most so far.

Yep, my last statement stands. The second version I mentioned above is the one I like. Please port it over to a .utx file and send it my way. Let's give it a look-see on MapVote. Thanks all.

Umm he said tonight, what part of that didn't you understand? It was 2 days later too.

Btw Herm, what do you mean by "send it my way"? You want me to email it or by MSN, Yahoo...?

Email it if you can. How big is it. I think I'll get it if it is under 5mb. Compress it then email it eh!

LOL it's not a map but just a tiny textured picture, so would 18KB be OK?

Hardly doubt zipping it would be a worthwhile way to compress it even more, although if you want it as a .uz for redirect reasons, I'll add that also (only at 9KB).

P.S.- Email on the way & just remember what I said before above 4 days ago. Should there be any problem (highly doubt it), just let me know.

The file must be in .UTX format. Email it to herm in that format.

Herm must put it on the server and in the serverpackage list and in the LA13 .ini.

I have to put it in as a server package? OK. Will do. I still haven't added it yet. The wife is away for the weekend and I have my oldest son with me. He just went to bed so hopefully I'll get to this tonight. Hey! I say the server full tonight at 16 players. It's been a while BUT HEY! I'm happy.

So, how does it look now? I may have tried to before when it was down, so couldn't see it for myself.

Btw, want a server logo & audio intro also? I can make it too, but more work involved though.
