One wonders why the movie about Linda Lovelace needed to simulate any sex scenes. They could have just shown the sets and Linda getting ready to shoot her scenes, and then how she felt about it afterwards. Sounds like blatant sexploitation to me.
Also that Amanda Seyfried is way too pretty to be Linda.
As I recall from reading in Playboy many years ago, the real story will be how she and one of her costars were viciously prosecuted. Linda avoided jail by agreeing to testify before congress, but to her credit ran away to South America instead. I think she was allowed to come back home years later. Her costar was not so lucky. They were very heavy handed with him if I remember correctly.

So......... here's something infinitely more cheerful. If you know anything about Indian motorcycles, then you probably have heard of the restorer Bob Stark.

If you don't know anything about them books by Jerry Hatfield are a good place to start. I picked up his "Indian Motorcycle Buyer's Guide" years ago and was a convert to loving that brand. The book is really more of a quick history of the brand, and includes a few riding impressions of important models. ;) :)

But I digress. Apparently part of Bob Stark's personal collection of Indians went on sale in 2010:

I'm just going out on a limb here, but likely due to the subject matter. I can't think of a single mainstream movie that was done about porn, either documentary or comedy or plain drama, where they didn't try to simulate the actual subject matter.

Not that I've seen many. I usually go for alien invasions, horror, and other fast paced less realistic stuff.

Moving right along...

This trailer is hilarious, and grim, (foul language, body part mentions, crushed old lady) and you may need to login to youtube to see it.

"Yeah well This is Hermskii here and I had to jump in on this one and nuke it. I left the link below. Sorry folks. I'd like to be all wide open and have mature stuff here all of the time and just not care but somehow I just think it is better to not have it right here. I have slipped before and I have let some stuff get by and I have let people off the hook before for slipping and all of that but I'll say no to this one for now and just move on."

That pretty much sums it up for me too. It became less about the material and more about how closely can we get Amanda to the real thing without crossing that imaginary boundary. Hollywood has some odd views about this sort of thing, I mean people still bring up the discussion of Mickey Roarke and Carre Otis actually having sex in Wild Orchid and that movie is how old now?

Yeah, I'd have liked it better to treat the movie like a biopic and focus on the circumstance rather than the procedure.

This is a short clip of Rush Hour 2. The final scene and at the end is the blooper part. The blooper part is funny and the best thing is that Jackie does not understand what is going on. lol

1926 Indian Chief startup. Listen to the power of that early V twin. Then note the complete lack of a front brake. :o (They weren't standard on motorcycles until 1929.)

And here is a brand of motorcycle I had either forgotten existed, or never heard of.
This is a Curtiss V4. Wow, a V4 way back when? :o

You must chase these with the "Honest Trailers" you can choose at the end. They are even better. I thought I already told you folks about them. Do the Twilight ones in numerical order first and then Avengers. Awesome!

If you mention the Twilight movies again I'm afraid I'll have to petition a Man Card point deduction for you. Just sayin...

My 17 yr old niece stayed with us last summer. She and my wife kept trying to get me to watch all these chick flicks with them all of the time. At the end of summer my niece had a friend come in town and stay with us also over the last two weeks. I told them that I'd watch all 3 of the Twilight movies with them if they gave in on leaving me alone for football or something like that. I can't recall the deal but I did watch all three and now I need to see the last one for closure.

What was so funny about the "honest Trailers" about these movies was that I had complained about pretty much all of the same stuff to them already as I watched the movies. I'd still rather watch any of these movies compared to Popeye, Speed Racer or the Dragon Ball Z movie they made with real people. I still think Popeye is easily the worst movie I ever saw. EVER!

Closure? Really? OK, you forced us to do this.
ManCardRevoked[1].jpg
You have no one to blame but your self. I understand sometimes we need to accommodate the fairer sex, but then you want closure. That went WAY too far. Ask your wife to allow you look at your manhood again and go watch some shoot em up films, drive fast, injure yourself by hitting something hard. Nothing like saying your a man like doing something stupid, but being proud to do it and suffer the consequences for it. lol

The only closure men need is for their college team to win a bowl game. Herm, I'm sorry but David did what had to be done.

(David that was the funniest post I've read in a very long time! I love it when someone gets it, and you certainly did.)
