Hey folks. I did it finally! This forum is now using the latest and greatest version PHPBB. I know this look is ugly and I expect to get it back to what it was very soon. I have lots of testing and learning that I still need to do here. Please be patient. Merry Christmas!

You took a great leap and I am glad for you. Way to go!! You'll find the appropriate theme to use, it's just a matter of deciding. BTW MEAT, you can alter your local profile to use a base theme if Herm allows that. I do that some on boards that have really exotic crap all over them or flashing stuff. I hate flashing stuff on a forum.

OK! This started out with the default forum. I used to use a style here called sub_black but as far as I know, it isn't offered yet in this new forum format. I found this style that you see now and to be honest, I like it. What do you think? It looks a little like the old one but looks a little newer too. Let me know what you think. CYA!

The bird came with the style that I downloaded and used. I can change it as I had to do with the old forum which had a big PHP picture right where I ended up putting the CG/MHM logo. It works the same here. I just haven't uploaded the normal image because I'm going to make a new one and use it as I have been promising myself I'd do for years now. Thanks for all the good remarks. So are you saying to keep it as is then aside from changing the golden bird in the top left?

Along those same lines, have you found a good v3 download mod yet? I've looked all afternoon and aside from using phpnuke, I don't see a good option for a downloads section.
