I thought he was totally off his rocker before - this takes the cake here!
First he Vowed to Destroy Hermskii and his servers and also Me (Hook) and my servers, because he himself screwed up and got caught doing devious things.
Now this...
He is trying to destroy UT99 - all but HIS own stuff and a few other's stuff anyway.
Can you believe it?

I think what he tries to do, is actually a good idea.

Hi Terraniux.
Terraniux, the "unifying UT99...keeping it alive part" is only a disguise to make his plan look like something that is kind and good.
(He keeps saying that UT is Dead and that is the best way of killing UT!)
In reality, what he wants is to eliminate (get rid of) all servers except for the top 100 UT servers.
(now he changed it to keeping the top 200, to avoid the flak or negative replies)
Of course, his server has recently became one of the servers in the top 100 that he wants to keep. hmmmm
(and I am still wondering what was done to make it get there)
He wants to eliminate any competition to his server. (mainly our servers CMM and CG are his targets here, and he has posted this)
This "idea" would surely keep any new servers from happening, and cement his server in place without any rivals at all. (brilliant!)
He has noticed (and posted about it) that CMM in particular has been jumping UP in the ranks lately.
He has also noticed that CMM's average player count stat at GT is rising. (it jumped from 1.6 up to 1.8 players average)
The "Average Players" statistic indicator is really THE Most Accurate indicator at GT that tells you the REAL vitality or health of your server.
Rank can go up or down if a server shuts down or whatever - rank is highly influenced by what Other servers are doing.
The average player indicator stat is only the real actual average amount of players that are Actually Playing on YOUR server and is not influenced by any other server like the rank is.
At the same time, his server's average player stat has lowered from 2.6 down to 2.5, which shows it is on the way down.
So yes, he is worried and he is more desperate now to find a solution to take care of (get rid of) any other servers that interfere with his.
These other servers may easily be much Better than his, and he Knows it.

The "unifying" part?
What he really wants to do here is to "unify" most of UT99 Under or into his own server and forum, so he has more control and also to get rid of what he does not like.
If you know him like we do, and what he is capable of trying, you could and would see that.
Most other people see that also, judging by the replies to his post - they are mostly negative to his devious idea and can spot his real motive a mile away.
SOME (most?) people have some sense anyway - Thank God!

Yes, and even though what he posted almost appears like it should be a joke, I think he is really serious.

No, it can Not really work out for him! - even though he will probably keep trying in different ways from here on forward to accomplish his goals LOL.
We just have to watch our backs and not worry.
Besides, he would have to have OUR consent to go along with anything like he was proposing, and I think that there are Very Few UT enthusiasts that would ever go along with that sort of an insane, selfish idea.

No, I doubt that your map that you made was part of the plan.
I would not worry about that at all and just let it go.

??? ok i went away for a while (maybe longer than i thought), but wernt MEAT a regular here? wernt it not so long ago everyone (including MEAT, Hermskii and HOOK) was having a joke? what has gone on. everyone is saying they want to prevent UT from dieing but isnt arguments, fights and what ever this is what causes that? maybe ive been away too long but what a buzz kill!!!

There was certainly a parting of the ways with sevral former members here. I have not ever made public the cause of this departure with several of them. With the others, you can just read the topic about forum and server bans. It is stickied here somewhere. It explains who left, who got banned and usually why.

As far as the others not mentioned who are no longer allowed here, I was deceived badly and regularly by several of them and once I caught my snap about what was really going on in the background here I took action and they are now BANNED! A great many folks who didn't trust that my decision was best for this forum took the side of the these banned folks and followed them to new UT waters. I'm all cool with that! I would not expect people to stay on a forum if they weren't comfortable with deicisions from its Admin. I refer to the whole thing as cleaning house here and the house is clean. This place is chugging along just the way I like it. To be here and to be respected and not attacked, to be be listened to and not verbally mauled... this is how I want it here and this is now how it is. Birds of a feather flock together!
