I usually have "no trouble" falling asleep once I go to bed. The only problem is it is hard to get me to decide to go to bed. I like to sit up at night when my wife and kids are asleep and eat munchies while surfing the channels on the TV.
I have been enjoying the Firefly / Serenity show and movie on NetFlix the last couple of weeks and now I'm all done with that show and movie, I'm about to move on to the HBO series "True Blood" which I already know the full story up to the end of the 2nd year.
I hear great things about the series "Weeds" but I may have to watch the entire series of Buck Rogers since Wilma is so fine first. LOL.
Back to point...
I slept really well last night. I fell asleep on the couch early while watching news. My wife left me there undesturbed. This happens often enough I suppose. I can't stress how much better my work, home-life and general attitude is when I'm not tired. I think that is why my wife lets me sleep when I sleep.
Are you sleeping well or enough?
I gotta good night's sleep!

Ah yes, Firefly. I remember watching reruns of it on the Space channel back when I had cable TV. It was disappointing to discover that it had been canceled early on. I thought that show was very good. There was something else airing on cable at the same time that had a similar theme of vagabonds wandering in space, but I forget what that also short lived series was called.
And when you mention Buck Rogers, are you talking about the series with Gil Gerard and Erin Grey? Yes, the first season of that wasn't bad. A good cast made the best of a mediocre budget and 2nd rate writing. The huge story line change and the getting rid of Mel Blanc as the voice of Twikki in the 2nd season was a large mistake that really annoyed me at the time. IMO the show never recovered from that goof.
And speaking of a good night's sleep, well I get as best as I can with my bad back. I'm also thinking I should try those "breathe right" strips just to see if they make a difference. But even the generics cost $1 each up here, and if they aren't reusable, I'm not paying that. No way.

If you can not sleep:
1 Drink relaxed 2 glasses of fresh cold water. This will clean your body and mind of unnessary things. Water is life and love.... every human needs it.
2 Clear your mind. You can not sleep well with your head full of certain things.
3 Fantasize about things..... like what you dreamed before......
4 Close your eyes, breath slowly like in a meditation....
Enjoy your sleep.
Or use a crystal..... let it take control over your body and mind... enjoy your dream.
