Basically, it's an article detailing how Russia is ordering the United states to share what they know about the visitors from outer space... or they will.

Although, I do believe about this kinda stuff but it seems really unlikely some random website would be in on a private government to government document about alien invaders.

Actually, I barely visit dutch sites lately. Somehow all this american news and info is somehow more important/affecting to me. Perhaps I was in a previous life an American and reincarnated now as a young Dutch man. Haha.

Man, that does lead to some interesting discussions though. Like for one: do you think Obama is guilty of war crimes? After the last few days I'd say yeah, sadly. These drone killings of Americans on foreign soil is deeply troubling. We are doing all this stuff all over the world, it's only a matter of time before it happens here. You know our forefathers saw this happening and tried to create a weak central government with the bulk of the power residing with the individual states. The fed though has grabbed for so much over the last 50 years that it's grown incredibly hungry and bold for entire power. I don't mean to sound extreme but if you compare America now with Germany of the latter 30's, it's scary. We are coming for a nasty time my friends. Within the next generation (or less) you are going to see America implode under her own weight. I just hope that we don't get conquered trying to work things out for ourselves.

The drones thing is a carryover from a couple of the last few administrations. It sucks but I wouldn't call them war crimes related.

Now, from the previous administration... re-classifying torture, which we have a rule against doing, to enhanced interrogation techniques. That's a war crime, as using torture on prisoners is generally accepted as a war crime offense. The Bush Administration oughtta goto the Hague (however you spell it)

Not to enter an argument over this but essentially you are endorsing the government's killing of American citizens without due process. I'm not sure what would classify as a larger crime?

Not as such.

I'm not thrilled about the drone thing at all, but it's not exactly new or unique to the current administration. As such, to soley blame Obama's administration for it, to put him on trial for war crimes on something he didn't even start, seems a tad wonky.

As to the other thing, the previous administration did start that re-naming of torture thing. That's something specific to them.
