Travel to the USA from Canada down signifigantly

Lots of data has been collected that shows that Canadians are not traveling to the USA nearly so much. This includes business travel as well as tourist travel. The tariff situation that is choking trade has caused a drop in business travel especially to the US border states that did a lot of trade with Canada before the current economic climate imposed by the Trump administration.

I did see a news report on tv that spoke of a slight increase in tourism quite recently, but I think that overall this CBC report is still quite accurate.
