Ok you must be logged in otherwise the default UTC -6 time will be used.

Yay! I fixed it. My profile here was set to use the DST. I turned that off and my time reads correctly now! Peace. Yes, it is 2:33 AM right now!

Yes Herm, it's one of those 'newer' features that the boards have that one could enable or dis-enable in their settings. It's there cause some places use DST while others don't. It could be changed manually for the hour difference twice a year or I think even set for those that do use it for it to kick in automatically when it does go into effect.
