DM-Konosus on CG

There use to be a player, can't remember his name, who always played this one map, DM-Konosus. Always ran like a scalded dog when the Klownz entered the map. Klownz would like to announce that he's back, his name is now SMOKE and he's run from the Klownz twice today, bitching all the way . . . . .

I just got on CG and saw SMOKE on the same map.
I to entered the map, I said hi and he left...lol
But that happens to me all the time.
And he had 16 points, he would have won easily.
But I think I know who it is...
I use to see C_F_C on there all the time.
He was a big fan of that map...plus it thought
he knew a secret spot...but come to find out
everyone I talked to about the secret spot knew
about it already. Oh well.
I still have a log of names he used to go by:

He's in my Fan Club because he thinks I cheat...lol
Plus he emailed me a few times just to cuss me out.
He's been BANNED a couple times from my server.
And If I'm not mistaking he's been around just a long as
I have...problem is he never got any good...
So I think he resents anyone better then him.
Or should I say, he hates all of us because we cheat...

We should point out that his use of Deadman Walking as a handle bootlegs the original DMW, who was a long time player at Schwantz and the early CG. The man from Arkansas was a top rank player, and made playing on a 56k connection look easy.

If this bootlegger appears under that handle again and suddenly gets really good, then you'll know it isn't actually Smoke, but the true original you are up against.

56k players get a new IP everytime they reconnect unlike high speed players. The log would also show a 56k player connecting at 2600 where as the high speed players always connect at 10,000 and then get ttheir connection throttled down by the MaxClientRate setting of whatever it is which SHOULD usually be about 5000.

A urban legend tells that the MaxClientRate should be at least 10000 on Monster Hunt servers, otherwise strange things would happen, like monsters randomly becoming invisible. Now I have proofs that sometimes monsters become invisible, specially in crowded groups.

The problem is once you're in the "secret" spot you're visible to everyone.
But there is one other spot...

Kind of like DonDon and his maps.

As the player affaircenter.com was leaving he called me/us gay campers...lol
I know UT is dying and we need players but this is one guy I would BANNED.

And one other thing...I keep getting ragged on when I visit CG now.
I just clicked in, said hi and lower case "smokey" tells me to beat it.
Then his buddy TeRaPiN tells me the same thing...so I end up staying
and beating them first.
Then I left.
