What is wrong Scify? The picture looks ok other than it appears to be a map that CG doesn't cycle.

Reinstall and update your video card drivers. They need done sometimes as they will get corrupt for no real reason. Be sure to add/remove the old driver completely BEFORE installing the update. If you need help, PM me with your card type and I'll send you instructions.

Also when you "artifact" like that it is a sign the card might be getting hot. You ought to blow out your rig with some compressed air too while you are at it. If your card has a fan, pull the fan off and oil it and really clean the channels out of dirt.

If your card, drivers, and game are all for-sure good the only thing left is some odd setting somewhere.

No...that's a good thing...it's a map on MRS.

The problem is you have all that old stuff from Curious Jeff, Mike, George...whatever, messing with you.
Reinstall/update your video card and stay clear of Curious Mike...George?
Anyway, you're good enough to play with the big boys now... :P

GeForce ti4200 DOES have a fan. Make sure to never blow out a PC with compressed air while the PC IS ON OR EVEN PLUGGED IN. CYA!

Hmmmm? Makes me wonder what version you have. How many MB of ram? I'm guessing 64. Mine has 128 but it is slower ram than the 64mb version like what you may have. It would make sense to not have a fan for 64 and to have one for 128 being ram gets hot and 128 is 64 X 2.
