I like anything dragon. Almost without exception there are 2 things that cross every cultural boundary, no matter what civilization (or when) in the world you are:

1. Oral recounts of a great flood at some point in the distant past
2. Dragons

Nearly every human civilization that existed has some kind of dragon in it's mythology...makes you wonder doesn't it?

Even better than that is how much the dragons resemble each other even among cultures that had no contact. I think it was Carl Sagan who said he felt like it was some sort of "shared memory" from the time that mammals lived under constant threat from the dominant reptiles.
