UMH over the top administrating

Ok its official ive been banned from UMH servers and forum.
Why u ask? Well because i dared to use the Pulse rifle glitch, thats right i used the glitch gopo told me to stop so i stopped 3 maps later i used it for about 10secs to kill overpowered monsters raping me in a corner and about 2mins later i was banned without warning.

banned for the entire weekend just for this.
AND gopo had the cheek to post a thread about it naming and shaming me basically, also saying ive been having many issues NONE of which i was told about.
when i asked for him to give examples he gave me none just said the same thing "you did not do wat i say!" like hes all high and mighty.

so im officially p*ssed off right now.

I wasn't there when he used the ''cheat'' but I can imagine supreme is p*ssed off.
It's silly that he get banned for something like this.

UMH has some maps that are in complete excess of so called "strong monsters".
If GoPo isn't around to "spawn" special weapons, you have nearly no chance of survival - unless you have an extra hour or two to run through the map, shoot ONE shot at strong monster then DIE in a spam-fest of multiple monster fire.
It's beginning to make playing with MEAT or Killer Klownz look like a walk in the park!

@ Supreme: I'm sorry for you, I also don't like those spammy strong monsters but if they've made all of these new rules I think they'll soon need to add an anticheat tool, cause it's impossible to manually sneak all the cheaters, they can't stay 24/7 on the server.

Indeed, if he's going to add a ton of Strongmonsters to his server then he can expect problems, and even without it I have to agree with FuzzBall, some maps just have ludicrous monsters, remember MH-(_@_)Stargate?
If someone used a glitch in that map I would have cheered them and so would everyone else who was playing.
I read POTS link, if gopo he wants no cheating why doesn't he get some mod to prevent it as opposed to banning people who have been pushed over the edge by his mega monsters?

Are you just banned temporarily or permanently, cos if it's permanently then this is another step towards the major rift I predicted ever since UMH was first mentioned.

But, regardless of this problem he still runs a damn good server, even if the long arm of the law is now holding an Impact Hammer.

It seems like Supreme has been permanently banned from the {UMH} server(s) because of boosting a player into lava with a redeemer (haven't they totally removed boosting from their servers? How come redeemers can boost you?)

Well, now I'm not his advocate but I think someone (UMHers) can't understand Supreme has never changed, he's been like that since he was born I think. He doesn't act bad on purpose, he just gets bored with ease, and he's "allergic" to strict rules. This is Supreme, take it or leave it, you either like him or you hate him. Since we've learnt to know him we turn a blind eye on him, but someone (MHMers) hasn't realized yet that {UMH} is not equal to {MHM} so these are the consequences.

Anyway he's not the first and he won't be the last boosting another player to death. You have no idea how many random players and also well known players enjoy doing that (hey BigBoss do you remember that dude we've found yesterday?) If it happens once, let's live with it; if it becomes a habit players have a KickVote menu, they don't need a "Texas Ranger" to save them.

A while ago I remember someone trying to taunt & knock me off of a bunny track
with rocket fire.
Poor fool didn't realize that I had a redeemer and shoved it straight up his arse, blowing him to tiny bits.
Perhaps THAT was Supreme, too.
Those incidents didn't bother me to the point of wanting anyone banned, but from now on I will, at every chance, knock you off your game.
Could it be Supreme was banned from UMH for simply being a twat?

And if Fuzz doesn't mind what does it matter then???

Anyways like POTS said, if they don't want you to boost someone they had to make an Anti Redeemer boost also.

Yes, there was a whole section on making it, why don't they just add that instead of keeping it around so they can ban people for it?

It's like any structure of bad things, you get what's at the top (the actual problem) not just trying to smash down the things at the bottom, it's like trying to stop organised crime by arresting simple thugs.

Well, I stayed off getting a forum account on UMH for ages and if it's just going to be something I get beaten round the head with then to hell with it, I play well on the server I guess I will just try and be a good player, even if the forums are a lost cause.

People listen here real quick. Each server has different rules and many have the same ones. I have to support GOPO since it is his server and I hope the rules are clear there. If so, as I suspect they are, then whatever happened, happened that way for a reason. Yes, some players have a knack for going in certain patterns when it comes to playing thisn game but that doesn't mean it works for all of the Admins. Supreme has pushed many buttons on MHM before and I have gotten emails about it but he is also worth the hassle to have around to me. That doesn't mean I would not ban him. It means I watch and weight the good vs. bad with a player and react based on others and what they say.

Like driving cars, if you break the law you get pulled over and get a ticket. If you don't break the law, you won't ever get pulled over. It's pretty simple to me. Play by the rules on the server you are at. The end.

Well. I have two things to say.

First, I remember I've told you all several times that even if we don't like the rules on UMH, we MUST respect them since it's not our server. Gopo is the boss there and if we want to play on UMH we must respect his rules and his commands. That's why we should remember what POTS said; UMH is not MHM, so we can´t expect to be treated the same or to be able to behave like we do on MHM. We all should consider this before playing there.

Second. I´d like to express you all what I think about the rules and the way they´re doing the admining there. I´ve just read the rules and, personally , I disagree with their emphasize on restricting people´s behaviour. For me, the main goal of a server is fun, nothing else.[I´ve edited the post since it seems like it´s not expressing my point clearly] However, it´s Their server, their rules.

For me, killing monsters or winning matches are not the main goal of a server. The main goal of a server is to have fun. And, as long as you´re not doing anything strictly forbidden in the server (like sexual talk, or cheating) or annoying other players, you should not be banned.

There´s also another issue. The cow has been banned from the UMH forum for disagreeing with the admins. I totally disagree with that. Is "Never disagree with admins" a forum rule? Wow, if that´s the case MEAT should have been banned a long time ago for disagreeing with Herm in many redeemer discussions. [I´ve edited the post since it seems like it´s not expressing my point clearly]

However, you all have to remember that UMH admins should be under a lot of pressure and stress right now, and perhaps that´s why they proceeded like this. I have not emphasized enough that Gopostal is a really good person and that we should not forget all the good things he has done for us. That´s why we gotta show some tolerance and try to give him a break. I strongly believe that, in a few days, relations will be back to normal.

For now ima just steer real clear of all things UMH and stick with MHM, MHM is my natural place anyway and where i feel at home so thats where im gonna be playing at from now on

I just can´t understand why they banned Supreme if Fuzz never complained.

he did complain, he swore on TS from what i heard from being boosting, UMH isnt MHM's servers, so yah, the rules are dif but there set there cus UMH picked there rules, just like the admins of MHM did, UMH admins are under ALOT of stress right now cus of this, i know, i have talked to gop and i kinda know how he is feeling, i have been here and done this before.

and gop did ask people not to fight with him about ash being banned, and yah, bio kinda did, well he spoke his mind anyways, his only banned for the weekend frig, its not like he is banned for life, a weekend is two friging days, if u cant stand not going on somthing for two days then u need help. well. its one day now, but its all the same.

im sorry to have to say this and i wish i didnt have to say this cus you guys are gonna be flipping mad at me probly, but lay off of UMH. not only is this fighting hurting you guys and them, but its also kinda hurting people who are freinds with both UMH and MHM, we are torn, we donno who to stand up for, and if we stand up for one side we are told we are chosing sides *glares at ash*. TBH, just let is drop, you where banned, there's millions of other servers out there
