I told I get window 7. Never hear of it but Moniter run XP or Vista

Hmm you should be able to get a much higher spec than this for under $1000
i would suggest alteast 3GB of ram and a nvidia card 8600 or higher also a power supply with atleast 500W so it can power the newer graphics cards
The processor is good tho.

Also try to avoid those 64bit editions, since they can cause compatibility issues with older softwares like UT, plus there is really a limited range of new softwares that can fully take advantage of the 64bit technology I think.
One more thing: if the original PC is sold with Vista Home Basic pre-installed I don't think you can upgrade to Windows 7, or at least this is what happens here. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Like Supreme said, I'm also pretty sure you can get a better PC for less then 1000$.
The processor is better then mine, Intel Core i7 is good.
Still a very good pc. Especially for an old game like UT

It only need New keyboard, Mouse and Speaks(I got two set new one sound sick
