Basically it's an embarrassing moment while playing UT.
I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder and off hand I can think
of about a dozen or so...but I'll start off with:

The player that tries so hard to kill you that he kills himself instead...
You know the player, he gets so wrapped up in what he's doing that he
forgets his bearings and BOOM...he's DEAD!!!

Well, heck, just about every 3rd redeemer I fire blows up in my face and kills me.
Humiliating alright, MEAT.
I guess it's best that I NEVER PLAY ANOTHER REDEEMER MATCH EVER!

Well, I gotta DITTO this for the first part as I get MY fair share of missiles back in my face also, but I gotta keep playing!
No humiliation at all! - I love to play no matter what!
(Except for annoying telefragging when I am trying to concentrate on playing redeemer.)
The more I play, the better.

Okay I'll give another example.
but please jump in with one of your own

How about the guy that chases you with his missile only to have you circle
back around to where he is standing. It's you and him standing side by side
with his missile guided straight for the both of you.
Does he realize the predicament he is in?
A. a guided missile head straight for him.
B. someone (MEAT) is standing next to him.
Either way he's dead but the real question is does he blow his missile
and try to escape before (MEAT) telefrags him or does he take the chance
and continue to guide his missile in hopes of a kill?

hmm...by the time he forms a thought I'll have his blood on my boots...

Come on MH players join in.
I know you hate it when you fight a monster for 10 mins
and then someone comes in and shoots it once and gets the kill.
Not actually ranked as a ultimate humiliation but it does suck.

Maybe it doesn't provide humiliating moments...sorry...

it kinda does, like if your fighting a monster on a clif, and you hit your side button twice, you dodge and fall of the clif

or if your *almost* at the end, in the lead, no death's, you hit the stuipd kill your self button

Before the translocator could be used in Redeemer Arena I would often sneak up on a player and lie down at his feet. It was funny as hell to lie there in plain sight on the floor but not be noticed as the guy launched missile after missile. When he finally would notice me, he'd usually jump back a few feet then blow us both up. Or he would run far enough away to get me safely, but then I would chase him around the map. Usually he would kill us both, but sometimes someone else got a nice double frag instead.

Since the translocator became available I usually would just telefrag him. But sometimes I'd lie at his feet and play the game the old way.

You can tell when they're learning by the way that they switch to the translocator, and try to telefrag you as you're lying there, or while you're chasing them down the hall. And still it is often someone else who gets a nice double kill.

Hey a nameless entity, that is how we Still Play it at {CMM} and our Alternate Server: {SRA}
{SRA} is only up on occasion that is announced.
And is a Duplicate of the Old SRA - As Close as Possible anyway.

{CMM} may change soon and allow the Translocator.
But ONLY to get around maps - NO telefragging!

All the good MH servers now use a score system based on damage, so if you do 240 damage to a monster you will get 240 points.

MH has plenty of humiliating moments, such as cratering, drowning, being eaten by a pupae, or (always popular) being crushed by a door/elavator.

doors, traps, falling, i swear they are all set out to get me, and no one warns me about a floor falling or a rock falling

good thing UT isnt real life or id be long gone

Or an earthquake that throws you off a bridge in the lava.

lol....funny but true.
And most people aren't smart enough to see your name at the bottom of the screen.
I can't tell you how many times I've snuck up on somebody and said "hey, don't you
see my name at the bottom of the screen...that means I'm standing right next to you".
BOOM...usually ends up in both of us dying.

I recall chasing MEAT around in his infancy a few times. Ahhh! Good times.

Yes, messing with folks has become more fun than winning to me. Chasing players and being too close for them to shoot and live is the best!
