Unreal Tournament PROPER movie?

Who would like to see a Unreal Movie made by professionals, *Like movies on TV*

lol this will NEVER happed the unreal anthology is not focused on story its mainly multiplayer, anyway movie producers would just come up with some completely unrelated poop with the unreal name slapped on it if they did make one.

for an example look what happend to Unreal 2 when the series was given to different developers.

Agreed, they kept the Skaarj and a few corportation names but that was it.
A good game, but completely unrelated to the rest of Unreal.

Anyway, if they did try to make a movie it *might* be about a team's journey through the tournament, but I would bet on the UT3 campain mode as story fodder.

I have to agree also, Unreal doesn't really have a ''story'' except from the part Bio mentioned.
But we could and should make a nice video of us playing and goofing around *I think*.
I believe we already talked about this before but when we'll do it!

The only thing I would recomend, would be for one of us to make a movie about {MHM}! I might actually do that! I might record some bits of all the {MHM} members playing around on {MHM} and then put it all together for us all to be in and watch ourselves. Should I make my own poll on that for people to for? I guess I'll make one and see what people think of it )

It would be nice to have an Unreal Movie. However, like Supreme, I´m not optimistic about this.

Yes, there are no story line which makes it even more difficult. A movie based on the "adventures" of one of the teams in Liandri´s tournament soundss like some dumb teenagers movies. If a movie has to be done, I´d take Unreal 1 history line. Of how the main prisoner has to survive on his journey across Na Pali. I´d include some drama (like for example that he was a criminal because all his family was murdered or something like that; or perhaps not a criminal but a member of some of the teams in Liandri´s tournament) in order to make the plot more interesting. I´d also add more participation to Nali´s. Perhaps you guys don´t remember but across all Unreal 1 there was the implication of the main character being Nali´s Messiah. I´d play with that role in the movie, exploring religious issues and how the character has an identity crysis: he can´t handle the responsibility of being one civilization´s messiah and a criminal at the same time.

In most of the times it´s true Cow, but I have to invite you all to check one, in my opinion, exception to this rule. Check out Kubrick´s "The Shining". The original book is from Stephen King.

I Bet something really good could be made movie'd from UT, with the right producers, cgi animators and stuff, it could be like Avatar, ahahaha but UT Style. Well anyway, time for sleepies, 4am here O_O
