Nice! My last ride was a 87' Honda VFR700. Blue and white. Let's see if I can find a pic of what it looked like. I also had a few 85' Honda VFF700 cycles. Both where red white and blue but one was more blue and the other was more red. I'll try to find images of all of them and put links below:

And I just sold my dirt-bike. Here is a shot of what it was:

I sold all of them in mint condition. So these pictures are pretty accurate. Wait, no, I totalled the blue 85 Interceptor, then got he red one, sold it and got the blue 87 Interceptor. My highes speed reached was on the 87 Honda Interceptor VFR700R (which was the first link above) and that speed was 152 mph. True! Just ask the cop who caught me.
~Peace~

Hey!

Where's your helmet?

And your gloves?

The pavement looks wet and slippery. Ideal road rash conditions.

Or worse. (no helmet!)

yeah but i am used to driving in the wet, i have practiced on lots of wet surfaces and generally can drift it quite well, *plus i still only drive my 50cc atm* i was just practicing using my gears there, didnt go anywhere near speeds of 50+ because it was just down my small street, but i plan on going out to rockingham raceway at a race day to take it round at full speed, and since alot of race bikers are there i am sure it could help me learn these race gear stuff faster *its alot more difficult when its practically a race bike*

I Am sure you know that motor sport say that a company that makes a race bike has to make at least 500 road going versions of their race car/bike and this is generally a Track Bike, and only changes are a few extra lights, and plastic bodywork instead of carbon fibre, essentially the gears and engine is race stuff *and it has a power cam O_O its fun on gear 1 when that kicks in haha*

i can keep up with my dads Kawasaki Ninja ZX-9R up to about 60mph before his power starts pulling him away, its only when mine reaches its max speed when he completely shoots off seing as i can only get 125mph outta mine and he can get around 220 out of his if he ermm, well not really floored it but ermm, Twisted it :?: :!:

Anyway yeah i couldnt be arsed to wear my helm or gloves or boots, i only had my leather jacket and trousers on since i had been to get petrol on that day because i was low and had work later that day.

Fun fun lol.

Nice bike you got there Nameless looks like you clean/polish and take real good care of it pretty much every day :p Shinyy  But what is it a useless Honda? :p

hehe

Peace, laterz

1) No excuses! If you fall and break yourself as well as your bike, it will be that much longer before you can get it fixed since you will lose time at work and not make any money. :| Double downtime from riding...... ouch.

2) Actually it's an old Yamaha Virago. See the V2 logo on the side cover? I pasted that Harley badge over the decal on the gas tank, but got lazy and never finished the disguise job. Most people don't know the difference anyway.

Here's the full size photo so you can see:

Ah a Virago!
That explains the V on the side cover!
I was wondering what model HD that was.
My neighbor got killed 2 months ago 1/2 mile from home on his Yamaha.
Really nice guy. It's a terrible loss.
He was just coming back from the corner store and someone ran a red light at high speed.
Last Thursday, I heard the loud Waaaa - Waaaaaa of a large displacement crotch rocket down one of the major streets and then a loud *BANG*!!!! Poor fool ran into the back of a car! He lived but was in serious PAIN. Good thing for helmets.
I still want a bike.
If I ever pull outta this current mess I'm in, here's my next major purchase (the year is not relevant to me as long as it's new or low milage):

1) Sorry to hear about your neighbour F.B.

2) Could that guy have been on one of those Hayabusa's? Sadly, I hear that that is a common occurrence with those things.

3) Good choice! The FXD's are priced such that they are a great value, and ride/handle the best of all the dyna's.

4) The V2 logo actually stands for the Evolution V-Twin, back when the engine was new. Harley knew they had a winner when they introduced that motor, and the V2 logo proudly boasted of it.
My bike is a 1985 FXRSL. The FXRS was called a "Low Glide" until 1986. For 1986 the original Low Rider FXSB frame was dropped; so they renamed the FXRS as the Low Rider.
My bike however has the optional "handling package" which gave it the longer shocks and front forks of the FXRT touring bike. For 1986 the same model as mine was called a FXRS-SP "Low Rider Sport". But the original air cleaner on my FXRSL said "Super Glide II". Even HD is screwed up on the naming of models from back then. They insist on referring to my '85 as a Low Rider Sport, even though they didn't introduce that name until '86, and the air cleaner cover (which I still have) says otherwise. :|
