Noooo! Half the fun of that map is seeing the people get into an argument with Mr. Titan. You will honestly laugh outloud!

Tears!

Post by Hermskii » Fri Aug 04, 2006 7:43 pm

That map is one of my all-time favorites. I put it on many years ago and laughed to tears as people argued back and threatened Mr. Titan. You know...as an admin you can actually talk as if you are Mr. Titan. That really messes with players heads especially if they know he's really a bot with a ping. Imagine him saying something like "You know MEAT got his name by sucking on mine" in game. Oh goodness the fun that can be had with speaking out as Mr. Titan. The other players don't know it's really you.

MEAT, you really should read the readme's that come with the maps too. They explain how to get to secret weapons, rooms and all sorts of cool stuff.
~Peace~

It's funny, we play these small non-redeemer maps just because they came with the original game. It's like
taking a bomb to a knife fight....very messy and not very smart.
But what if the original game was all large maps?
We would probably hate the smaller maps and ridicule anyone that wanted to play them....lol
I'm surprised no one defended the smaller maps or the map
selection of the orginal UT?
Funny, no one ever agrees with me when I'm right....lol

You have potential 5i1ent/3ob but I'll give you more credit.
Great attitude and I also hate losing but we all lose.
Truth be told I was stating a fact not whinning after my win.
I call them like I see them...so if I see you spray and lose I'll
tell you about it. In fact the other 3 guys were sprayers to.
And no need for you to get personal I didn't.

I can't find where Silent Bob said squat to you. Where is it and what are you talking to him about?

I have no idea what happened, but I can attest that Bob is a great person with a great attitude. He is also a great player.

Bob is a great player, I've seen it, respect it and I bet is a great guy much like myself.
And when you reach a level of success like Bob, Jarg, me....etc you don't want to lose.
Especially when you're playing at your best.
You can all say it's no big deal and we all play for fun but we all still want to win.
Anyway, here's the picture:
DM-Sniper_Heaven with a total of 5 players playing. 3 towards the end.
I do my thing where I hide & glide and the other 3 were spraying and praying big time.
I win and say "can't beat me spraying".
1 guy gives me the "lol" and Bob says "why you whinning?"
I said "winning...just stating a fact".
The map is a med size map with very few people, not a good situition for the spraying technique.
And Bob is a fast typer so most of what he said was running into each other. I could only respond with "wow".

Just a much of build up hostility on his part....we all get it.
And with all my postings and comments here at the forum I'd hate me to....lol
But THAT is where the FUN is.
