Finally got my bike :D
Its a Gilera DNA 125, its pretty unique as it has the ease of a twist and go but the look and handling of a sports bike.

Absolute bargain at £450 with just 5000 miles on the clock.

Twist and go?! you lame! lol get gears ya wussy :P they are easy to get used to after a few days :)

Plus it goes faster with a proper gear setup :)

And does it have a steering Damnpner? :/

Without a steering dampner there is a chance of this happening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZ1srcQMa_0

Im not interested enough in bikes to fuss around with a manual and im lazy i guess  i got this because its easy nippy and looks nice, it will still do about 75mph

And as for a steering damperner whatever that is i dont think my 125cc bike is gonna have one if that 600cc+ super bike in the video does not have one i dont plan on doing any TT's on it so it all good

When your zooming along a street on an oversized bicycle with an engine built into it, do you really want the steering to be a little bit stiff?

and here is when i bring back this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZ1srcQMa_0

That accident is called a "TankSlapper" and is often caused by steering being too light, so YES you do want the steering to be a little stiff when you are zooming along, think of it as having ur pushbike dragged by a car going about 50 mph, you wanna try to keep the handle bars straight? be my guest... just dont come cr.... oh wait you will most likely be dead.. never mind.

Sooo basically, YES i want my steering to be a little stiffened.

Plus when you are riding, if u ride properly *Leaning the bike in the direction you are going slightly* then it still feels quite light :)

Doesnt matter how high or low his steering is, any bike can get into a fatal tankslapper ;) youtube "TankSlapper" theres loads of vids, the TT Race one is the worst though. Guy was going about 150 mph when the tankslapper occured.

Its just a little less of a chance if u got a racing steering dampner on it, they were designed to stop tankslappers

In fact i saw a guy this morning, he was on a moped going maybe 35, caught a bump in the road and got a small tankslapper, fortunately he regained control, so yerr :P even low power 2 wheel vehicles can get it ;)

They are good to have if you routinely go fast. The handlebars can get away from you if your tires are out of balance going fast or turning on bad road and all sorts of reasons but the main idea is to keep the handlebars from doing the shimmy so bad you can't hold on to them while hauling butt.

Ill be fine lol, had it out today got some good leaning round the corners
tested the acceleration today aswell and its pretty damn quick for its engine size i think that after market exhaust plays its role well.
