I understand that, but this is actually a very good initiative, and it´s gonna be among HOH members, so we could chillax a little bit and try to have fun instead on focusing on whose gonna have advantages.

I always play with a 100 - 120 ping and it´s ok to have a decent insta match. If EA is getting a good connection as he says then we´ll have similar pings like we used to have back on the MHM3 days (Me 120, Hellfire 115, Supreme 150, Pots 165), so it´s actually not that bad.

This is probably stating the obvious, but it should probably be on a weekend. We'll get alot more people around and I'll fight much better

At least the fights I'm involved in would be best at that time, as I suffer from either lag or low brightness, depending on how I set it up. My weekend gaming computer has no such problem. Also my weekday computer crashes periodically.

I Have chosen a map, i also created it, Sobekk is the chosen map for the 1v1 HOH IDM Tournament of 2010, i felt this is the best way to go since its small 1v1, not an easy map the start camping on, and nobody knows their way around it so its equally unfair to everyone.

HOWEVER

A Practice Server is now up!

Its running the exact stats to what will be run in the tournament except there are 4 player spaces and 4 spectate slots at the moment.

If you wish to have a practice feel free to use the server as much as you wish, its gonna be up all the way until we are ready to start properly!

I tried to test the server but the download is awfully slow. Perhaps you forgot to add redirect.

Also, I´m getting an incredible high ping 300+, where is the server located? If it´s in Europe then that might explain the lag, but if it´s not, then you should check the connection or something.

The server currently is just running from my pc, and my dad has been downloading most of the day so that should probably explain it, hopefully ping will be better if i can get this proper host up.

Also a file name would be nice to figure out why it's being slow, its kinda hard trying to find something that is just slow download with no name :p

You guys are welcome to use the dm portal server to practice on. It's stocked with instas, the map never changes, the ping will be steady, and there are no bots.
