guys if you want i can open us a ventrilo server for all of us can hang out in. Ventrilo is a chat place which you can use a mic or just use the global chat to talk in. If not then i will not make it. But my question was asking if anybody would like a ventrilo server first?

Not knocking the idea at all but I've always prefered plain old Yahoo chat. I also know that several people here have used chat programs in game and out and while it is all good at first, usually everyone backs awy from it after time for some reason.

Also, there are CHAT mods that can be installed on our forums also.
I have TWO (2) different chats installed on my forum, but I only use one.
I forget to use it most of the time but it is Nice to use!

i will make the new ventrilo then for us

. The ventrilo information is:
Hostname/ip address: ny2.ugt-servers.com
Port: 31075
it has a slot of 10 people right now which is enough.

Once you get past the oddness of voice chat in-game, you'll never want to go back to typing it. I've had wonderful and stimulating discussions on a huge variety of things with people.

Oh, and I spoke some to Fuzzy too.

lol like i said ventrilo is nice to have b/c of the voice chat and some other stuff that you can mess with.

The server worked fine I talked a bit with battle on it.

how does vent compare to TS3 i used vent long time ago but had to many problems not that TS3 doesnt have them

I don't know about the workings of a Vent server but the audio in TS3 can't be beaten. The permission system is just way to complex if you had to set up a multilayered admin system though.

You guys can try my TS3 out to compare if you want: IP Address: 64.237.62.226 Port: 9129

It's getting ready to shut down though.

It's really not that hard though. I could teach it to you guys when you guys get on. ventilo has bindings to which you can do anything allmost like TS3.
