OK, so I'm trying to get the server to stop acting weird. It keeps acting up and I can't figure out why. I'm digging through the ini and settings trying to get at the cause but nothing is helping. I finally started reinstalling the core server files and got it cleared. I dug into the crash logs and omg...Guys I have completely and totally learned my lesson. I specifically asked you all to respect the server, don't change settings, don't screw with accounts AT ALL, and don't mess things up. Here's a nice little bit of today's log:

The very best part of the whole thing? I was spending several hours with Pots helping improve MHM3 for everyone.

Fuzzy, I was very clear about this. I sent an email out to the people involved and part of it was:

Lastly if you google admin commands, PLEASE do not use any "set" commands. These do not clear when the server is restarted and I must manually fix them. Oh, and leave the nexgen settings alone. The server is tweaked up pretty tightly and messing with something will only cause problems. If you are interested in screwing around in the nexgen to see how things work, get with me and I'll make a server backup and you can *EDIT* that baby up to your hearts content.

Gamespeed set to 999? Adding 16 bots? How could this possibly be a good thing? I'm totally floored at the people involved. Yeah, it's my fault. I should have known but you know I was just trying to be a good guy and let people have some fun.

@Pots: I have never asked this from anyone, but I'm going to ask of you that you do not use what I made yesterday for MHM3. The fact that I was spending my afternoon helping the same people that were doing this to me honestly is just too much. I would appreciate it if you removed it from the server.

I do apologise for this gopo, we seem to get easily carried away, i for one did not recieve the email but got the password off u on msn, so i was not aware of the exact credentials of playing on the server. I just joined as all madness and summoning was happenning so i asumed that was ok. But yes i did get abit carried away as with the others, changing my root admin class name, and changing gamespeed etc.

Wasnt everything returned to normal after this? or did everything go insane?

Because i remember the server being in default and working order when i left.

Please do not take all this as a malicious act to you, because its just not like that if anything its just ignorance on what is and is not safe to do with a server.

But i do take responsibility of perhaps over doing it abit and for that i apologise.

I will apologize too for this, first few days we played there we just used a lot of the portal gun and had fun with that (bio and me).
But it became busy now and then it started, many people summoning trying things.
But like supreme said it was nothing against you or something, we just were enjoying so much that we didn't thought about the responsibility we had and the trust you gave us for the server...

That is funny in a sad sort of way but really on both ends. GOPO working hard to make stuff better and folks messing it all up as though that wasn't going to happen. I'm shocked GOPO still does anything for anyone at this point. SAD!

Make me glad that I am totally ignorant when it comes to admin stuff and summoning stuff. I do not know how to do those things. The only thing that I know is mutate boost or mutate noboost (thanks for the directions on MH III). I know that when I practice on my own non-internet game, I can type in ghost and that lets me walk through walls, but it does not help me in the game......

I will leave all that stuff to the pros like Pots, Gopostal, Herm, Fuzz Ball, Hellfire, Supreme, ................. Ok, everybody but me.

I randomly joined the server and it was already like that. I probably should had stopped the game and kicked everyone out of the server, it was the only good thing to do I think, but to be honest I was speechless and felt lost and didn't know what to do at the moment, it was like OMG... I know I'm just trying to justify myself now, never mind I guess it's too late.

The heck it was clearly stated even in the server ads: "If you're an admin, please take care with my server"
What if another member of the private server had joined and found that mess instead of me? I don't wanna even think about that now.

OK I would felt mad the same if any other admins would do the same stuff on MHM3 and I totally understand you, that's why the new add-on for MHM3 is now gone by your request.

This is just "history repeating itself". I'm deeply sorry for all of this crap, it is totally unwanted.

That exact thing did happen. I had some admins from ()mg join to show them the improvements. Pizzi messaged me with "Shouldn't there be weapons?" It took a couple of server restarts to get them back because server Set commands will not clear on mapchange and they have all kinds of ramifications, especially in MH2 since it is tweaked so tightly. This barrage of junk i posted went on a couple of maps and totally wrecked the core.

I was simply humiliated by this whole thing in front of people who I want to work with. Yes, I'm quite angry. No, I'm not doing anything rash or retaliatory but don't ask me for anything. You guys burned me for the very last time on this.

I kind of "get an Idea" of what you were all trying to do with this setup, but, it really seems to be a real "dangerous" way of administering a server.
Or, at least it should have been in only 1 or 2 admin's knowledge of the use of it.

It is kinda like giving 5 kids the keys to a cabinet full of candy that is set aside for a charity group and telling the kids that they can open the cabinet and look at it but don't taste any of it or it will ruin the candy.

You do know the whole "talk about myself in the third person" thing is just silly, don't you? It's why I quit working with you on that map. You couldn't drop the whole "act" long enough to interact as adults.

BTW, karma was your server being empty because people got tired of you cheating a win then rubbing their faces in it. MEAT does it to, but people go back to his server because they know he is clean and his wins are real.
