USAA Insurance

Post by Hermskii » Fri Nov 13, 2009 12:17 am

I have USAA insurance which everyone knows is the best insurance and everything else company in the world. It used to be pretty hard to get being you or a parent had to have been an officer in the military to be eligible to get it.

They have changed the rules people! Now, even if you were ever enlisted or are a child or grandchild of someone who was enlisted you are eligible!

Call 1-800-531-8111 and talk to them. You will see that they will clobber the crap out of ANY INSURANCE COMPANY you have ever had!

Please give them a call and see for yourself. I bet I just saved several folks here in the thousands especially if they own a home and a couple of cars and maybe some life insurance. USAA also does home loans, car loans and well basically every single thing you would ever ask your bank to do. Yes, Visa cards, checking accounts, mutual funds, CD's....everything!

Do it right now! Call them and see for yourself and please post back here your results like say: Hey Herm, you were right! I saved $1,800 per year by switching. Which now points me in the pay off area. Don't you think you should send me at least 1/10Th of whatever you just saved due to this post?

But that's what everybody said about Liberty Mutual when they came up North here to Canada. I kept hearing about the great deals to be had on insurance for Harley's, with especially good rates beginning in the second year.

But in reality, it was only a handful of people that got these great rates. Everyone else, provided they would even consider insuring you in the first place, got lousy quotes.

Liberty Mutual stayed for a few years, then sold out and ran back south of the border, probably because they just could not adapt to the different business climate up here.

Probable edit: I think I got the name of the company wrong. I'll have to edit this post with the correct company name later, if I ever remember who they were.

Do it HOOK! I dare you! I know your father was a seasoned and decorated military pilot so it is MOST LIKELY he was too in fact an officer. Sons of officers like I am get USAA for sure. Price them out and make sure to come back here and tell us you plan on sending me half the money you saved. That would be fair right? LOL. Do it! Do it now!

I wish we had something like that up here for the sons and daughters of veterans too. I would qualify, and maybe save some bucks. Rates for car insurance in this province seem to go up every time the market is poor and the insurance companies don't make much money from their investments. The government is supposed to have some regulatory power over that, but they usually just turn a blind eye. I am sick to death of that, and keep waiting for the insurance on my Harley to sky rocket. So far so good sort of, it's still expensive but I haven't had to park the bike just yet. But every Spring I wonder if I will be riding or not this year.

I must admit that I am so annoyed about this issue that I feel I should repudiate my little attempt at a jest in my previous post of last year. :?

My daughter and my wife looked into it - your parents, etc., have had to be on it already they told us. :|
Rates were comparable to what daughter is currently paying - us also. :?

Hmmm? Sorry to hear that Hook. I'm shocked too. Note that the more you do with them, the cheaper it keeps getting and I get a dividend check once or twice a year too.
