Looks like Flash content forum support needs to be enabled first (at least for this specific board).

I recall that running the flash was dangerous. That was why it was off. I'm going to get with some web people and find out what the deal is. Thanks all! BTW, FLASH is on for me it says.

Take a look on my forum Hermskii - in the ACP.
There is a section there on adding BBCodes. (even custom ones)
I have added several I believe.

I am not sure your forum has this feature or not.
It MAY be a mod.

I got it, after googling it.

For those who do not know how, Hermskii now has a youtube function on the bbcode. It does [youtube][/youtube].
You then get the youtube video you want and get the address, such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htU6qYsLsEE, and then you use the htU6qYsLsEE (actual video ID from the address) from the mentioned address and place it between the [youtube][/youtube] and then you got the video.

Does that work? What ido is find the video I want. Then I grab that last part of the link as you did like: htU6qYsLsEE

Then I paste that into a new topic. I highlight all of it and then notice that button that says youtube on it just obove the box you're posting it? Press it. That puts the code you menetioned around your paste job for you So it then looks like this:

At that point hit submit and it will work.

I'm told you have to hit the youtube button for it to work. Otherwise, why aren't my test that I typed up properly working?
