A lot of us, snipers inparticular, love big maps. However, there are some maps out there that are so huge it staggers all concept of the word.

What is the largest map you currently have?

For me it's this:

AYetiTV was originally made for CTF but as I've largely only played with bots the last several years that wasn't practical so I renamed it for DM play. Even then, without some monsters running around, that's kinda pointless.

You know that map I love, HallOfGiants? This map is like 10 of it long and easily twice as high. Well, maybe not the height but it sorta seems that way. Unlike HallOfGiants, AYetiTV actually is setup to play at all levels it exists.

It's an odd mix of low gravity and normal depending what part you're in. Plus the ground is one massive jump-pad in the inbetween part.

Give it a try, it's fun and visually stunning if nothing else.

Sounds like it MAY be a good choice to add to {CMM}'s map roster. :wink:

Biggest map I can think of right now is DM-[WOLF]vanhelsing3a
Or another is DM-[JAG]THEWORXV3a
Or another is DM-POT_Montana_BA_HookFix
Or DM-ThundeRMountaiN[uSa]

Actually there are quite a few... :|

I have a map that isn't so much big as the file itself is huge. It is over 100mb in size.

It'd definitely kick ass for a redeemer arena battle....although it might drive you insane too. I once used the translocator, launched a redeemer from one side, teleported to where I aimed...

...it took close to 2 minutes for the redeemer to get to the other side!

Nice thing about it is the person that built it put vehicles in it. You can't so much drive them but if you hop on one it'll whisk you the length of the map in 3 seconds.

Don't fall off while whisking. It would be bad.

Whisking is fine, and fun. Falling off a high-speed transport tends to make one go splat against walls.

With some of our PirateDeemerCMM Configurations, shooting a deemer across that map would only take an instant - or at the most probably about 1 or 2 seconds. :wink:
With the Stinger II and especially with the Thompson! :lol:
