UT Corps & Skaarj Squad
When I eventually get my games online, if ever, I'm going to keep it fairly basic. Not an excessive lot of mutators, beyond some particular favorites, and only a few gametypes: standard stuff + MonsterHunt for the most part. I really want to get it out there, which no doubt became a stronger urge after hosting a few LAN games back when.
Not too many bots in games, though likely at least 2 to 4 on random selection.

Hey at least you have yourself an idea of your server that is great, thats a lot of voice packs, people will be downloading forever lol

I'd like to have it all planned out before I get it going, seems helpful to me.
They're not that big and on some of the servers i play on most, that's a lot less than I've gotta go thru to get into their games.

Besides, I figure that when people get in the first time they'll like what they see enough to come back in for more. After the first time in they'll just have to deal with maps they haven't been on before and not all the other stuff that's now in their cache folder.

We seem to have a pretty tight nit group between Herms'/HUTP/Helen's that there will always be players to test your server although some niches but mostly someone will try it out. I've noticed a lot of servers tend to favor one particular gametype. That won't be the case with mine. I plan on switching gametypes either every other day or on a weekly basis.

EG, that in itself will be a great addition to our group.
A "rotating" game type server! Yeah!
Also, we have some goodies that will help you manage your server.
One great one is medToggle by Helen.
I allows you to custom set up each map, etc., and manage game types too.
Does a LOT of things all in 1 mod.
