It is. I'm a far cry from setting up my own map from scratch but a bit of editing I can do.KiLLaKeLLeR wrote:Good work evil, pretty neat knowing that you can make your own stuff to some degree.

Re: MH-Monsters][ map requests
Moving right along...
There's only 1 monster in the Psych package that's a fair fight
Psych.Hunter
Psych monsters are weirdly skinned and even weirder armed. When you kill them they leave odd power items. In the case of the Psych.Hunter, which is on this map, it drops an odd shieldbelt.
Of course, the downside is with all the kills this map generates, that's a lotta litter.
Then there's this gal...
Yeen.miniYeen
Yeen's are atypical Queens. They don't shoot energy blasts from their chests. All they do is teleport, run, & jump. Well, that and when they corner you, they turn around and stab you with their tails. I figured even with the numbers, I didn't need to have an ultima protos for this map...
...I may have to rethink that.

Oh yes, I'm familiar with it. It's part of the oldskool package that enabled me to skin the Sktroopers...KiLLaKeLLeR wrote:Yea that shield belt is from the original unreal it is in the editor too just not under tournament items.
...but even then it wasn't all technicolored.

Re: MH-Monsters][ map requests
I could almost do this forever.
The problem with fighting really tiny dark monsters...
...is they don't show up well on dark ground.
So, I replaced it all with sand.
Currently seeking a good sky texture. Not a lot of sandy areas have a sky like that.

Doesn't work well in all cases.KiLLaKeLLeR wrote:Your having way too much fun with those new skills of yours lol.
There's a super, largely transparant, version of the SkaarjTrooper in the Celd package. Setup a map with it, music theme from Ghostbusters, and played it. Went okay for about 2 minutes before the map crashed. The Celd.Mystrooper drops a powerup for a special weapon on the maps when it dies but the issue was that it was putting out too many of them and the map couldn't handle it.
I need to find a better 'ghost'.

Re: MH-Monsters][ map requests
Might've gone a bit too far with this one
GrimReaper.GrimReaper
They're too powerful and they launch living weapons which have their own weapons. I removed all the spawnpoints for them except the very last one in the furthest back part of the map and they're still unbeatable.
TWT_Zombies mutator seemed like i might be able to port the zombies into MonsterHunt:
It kinda worked, kinda not. Zombies all tend to gather in the center of the map. They ignore players until you start shooting at them, even then they prefer attacking the bots over human players...
...so I deleted the map because I couldn't figure out how to change their mentality so they'd play it right.
Basically they don't work so well outside of the mutator.

But would it be an AI issue? In the mutator they work fine. It's only when I put them on a map without the mutator they get all squirrelly.KiLLaKeLLeR wrote:right click on them in the creature factory and mess with their AI properties

Coolest part of the mutator is what it does to map lighting.
