If memory serves me right...Sir mandrake is already laying lines and hanging lights and all of that stuff on his house. He is a bigtime do it upper for Christmas. Be careful buddy. You're already a year older now! LOL!

PS: I have a neighbor that has fallen off his roof a few times over the past few years!

I fell off mine when I was about 5 years old. Daaaaaaaaang. Looking back, I've had plenty of close calls with death. I'm lucky to be alive really.

Maybe he should start putting in nets or trampolenes this year in addition to all of the lights. Maybe he isn't responding because we mentioned that idea too late. OMG! Maybe it is too late.......

26 year ago My brother in law fell off his house put on roof. New house then . That was almost 4 floors high off ground. My sister saw him fall didn't it was him.He walk way.

I'm so pathetic. I don't think I ever did last year like I said I would but I think my HDD died and I lost them was why. Can't remember. I'm putting up my lights the weekend of the 10th or so. I have a camera now too so maybe I'll get a pathetic picture up this year.

My lights were put up Thanksgiving week -a week ago - I will try to get a shot as I did last year and post it too!
Are my old shots from last year on this forum?

I don't think it is humor. It is sort of sad that my Christmas lights don't inspire and I hate putting them up but putting them up is a big deal to me and I will do it. Hopefully, I will get a picture of them once they are up on my house and post it here.

Yes, Im ok..no I didnt fall off... I have Pics and a Video very soon. Just been busy doing a couple new songs.

I appreciate your concerns about the roof and my well being. Im extremely careful.. always have a grip on something and never up top on icy or windy conditions.

I will post an update and the pics and video I mentioned.

@Herm : You were on the mark buddy! The day you started this thread, I was indeed hard at work setting up. The house is lit and everything running smoothly!

I did in fact fall. I hurt my right hip, right ankle and all of the muscles in the back of my neck.

I am OK. More on this later. It is truly a sadly funny story. In my case, I fell from the ladder I was coming back down off the roof with and not from the roof itself.

Oh.. Glad you're ok herm, small spills can be just as bad as big ones. A few years ago I tumbled from an unstable ladder while trying to drive a screw into the wall of a club house. Fractured my wrist....oh talk about painful....

Here is a new sequence I just put up on the house a couple days ago....ENJOY!!




Here is a video of a song I have played on the house for a couple years and I did an Update/Remix of it. Its the classic Peanuts theme (Linus and Lucy) combined with a modern rock version by Gary Hoey. A good friend of mine spent a better part of all last summer coding this.

Here is a screen shot of the software that makes it all happen.
You are looking at the code for Linus and Lucy Remix shown in the video.
Each row is one light channel... each box in the grid is a timing measure and determines if the light is on or off at that point in the music.
