Check me out!!! I'm going to try some single player action!

While digging around to gather some information in relation to other things I'm up to, I came upon this www.UnrealSP.org forum. I read a bunch of stuff there and decided to give it a shot. The folks there seem really great and very helpful. I know some of my team here like POTS and HOOK and EvilGrins have some experience with this so I'll be looking to you guys for some help and suggestions too. I recall POTS having plenty to say about this before but it didn't stick since I wasn't interested at the time. Please give this topic link I posted a good look and come back give me your thoughts. I'm hoping to find and see stuff that will motivate me further to make some cool changes around here. Take a look:

Did you find out about it on your own or from that list of forums I follow that I posted here a week or so back?

I should also mention the extent of my SP knowledge comes from what I posted at that thread there, and from playing U2. I only played Unreal 1 a little bit, after I'd been playing UT for years, and I didn't much like it.

I did look at it from your list but went back for other reasons and then while researching stuff there I got interested. I have played Unreal before and haven't much liked it either but I'll give it another go. A sure point of interest is Operation Napali or something like that.

Operation Na Pali is pretty cool, although I grabbed it when it first came out because it had new monsters made specifically for it that I wanted.

Oh yes! Ive still got my original game disk of Unreal. The game is part of my timeline of games I've played over the years like...

Good! I already have a few folks here to assist me in my endeavor to play this. I already have many questions. I do have the original Unreal. I have not installed it to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit yet so I have to wait and see if it is even possible.

I'll try to keep questions about all of this to you here. CYA!

I have Win7 Ultimate 64bit too. Ill see if i can get it to work as well. Unreal and UT are based on the same Engine I believe so I suspect it will run just fine.
