So....what the story with clans and whatnot?

Why isnt there a tounament of deemers....im not pointin the finger of nuthin, but SOMEBODY get a move on!! Start recruiting.
Hmm and maybe SOMEONE else who has a deemer server could recruit too?
And i even think there is ANOTHER deemer server who could do the same?

How is deemers gunna get heaps popular if we have no benchmark except for beatin meat? (no wait, i didnt mean it like that!....Cuz id beat ya's all.)

We used to have tournaments in the past but then those that run them and had the servers disappeared so they stopped i guess meat could put on a tourny night set up a time day and a selection of maps then get players to "sign" up for it.. I have done it in the past with small success. The hard part is finding a time when x number of players will be around to play say 5 rounds without dropping out.

C.G has never really been a clan in the way most clans would mean by the term its more a loose association of players not sure if meat sees his server the same way but from what i see he's happy for all to join and play the same as hermskii is..

If u see any any Meat, CG Kids server with <SRA> they are old school no clan

I got to thinking about it and the individual spray feast tourney doesn't seem all that appealing to me.
You know, the kind of tourney where one or two people are eliminated each map.
It really would suck if you're one of the first ones to lose and then you would have to leave.
And the other problem of getting enough people to play...time constraints and all.

But I'd be interested in running a two person teams ladder type tournament?
This way you could actually play anytime your partner and another team is willing.
Maybe setup something here at the forum noting teams and what times they are available to play.
This way you could challenge other teams.
Have team names, team colors....?
Just a thought....Anyone interested? Show of hands please.

But it won't happen.
Because most people hesitant or shy away from team or organized events...even when it's on a PC.
Sure, you might get people to show up for a spray fest out of curiosity but it won't go any further then that.
It's like our servers....a lot of regulars play them but none come here to the forum to voice an opinion.
Currently I am advertising the possiblity of a team event on my server...but no takers yet.

I agree, with some. Deemer Tournaments are cool, i host them once in a blue in my community and are always successfull! Ill do one soon for our server Grand Opening!

When you mention teams, do you mean like regular UT teamplay like blue vs red, etc. ?

Meat open another thread for players to post in only if they want to play (posting a simple yes or i will play or i'm in) with a few details of what you expect the tourny to be and if they have any Q's to post back into this one that way you get a clear idea of numbers....

Basically it will be an on going event/challenge with teams of two going against other teams of two.
Kind of a "King of the Mountain" type of event.
So you and your partner will play against me and my partner.
If we lose then you two are "Top Dogs".
Then hopefully others will challenge you. Or maybe I'll
get another partner and challenge you.
All in good fun, all for bragging rights.
We can post teams here...challenges here.

somone put down the rules and as darkmatter said open up a new thread so we can sign. then obviously dates and teams...wait...how do we pick teams??
Is there a mod so that you cant kill your partner like some sniper levels when you play CTF?

kinda' gettin' a lil wood waitin for this tourny!

you shouldnt need a mod just like sniper you pick a map selection add the redeemer make it a team game so for Meats idea 2v2 and away you go ohh setting either time or frag limit....
