if you lower the player limit then there will be loads of people wantin to play in MHM and it would be full and go to other MH servers and eventuall everyone will stop checkin MMH and it will die. there is nothing worse then finding out one of the best servers is full and you can never get in. plus when me the supreme one, pots and many other players are showing off our skin codes to other players and no 1 can go i like that skin where do you get it? or testing out their skins. how will they find out how to make UT more intresting and MH may be a team game but i dont end the map hardly ever i wait for other ppl to do it i just dont like going at someone elses pace. i prefer to go at my own pace and when im having a pipe or cig letting them catch up or wait till near the end to give others a chance to get ahead while mucking around with other fellow MH players. i dont end maps that oftern in fact i usally say dont end while im trying to do something. dont get me wrong i will end some maps and sometimes i do go to fast but im doing it at my own pace not anyone elses and half the time im ussally at the start point or another location depending on the map messing around and making maps into abit of BT and seeing if other players can do it aswell.

ok this is just gettin anoying now, cant u guys jus get over the fact that ppl will rush and not be constantly lookin apon ppl that rush as inferier beings. u like too go in groups ya its fun too play as a team but some players like too rush and go insane scoring points and then get there selves on screen at the end of the match its fun, both aspects of play r fun so live with the fact that not everyone likes to play the same way, cos both types or players will allways be there and theres nothing u can do about it!!!!

and no!!! leave the player count allown r u insane 6-7 players r u crazy it will be constantly full and ull never be able too get into the server besides most the time the servers only on about 6-7 players anyway apart from weekends theres ussally alot of players on.

Nali, I don't really know whats going on in your head, but you aren't near as great or WANTED as you think. Just because you are one of the only people who can finish Andromeda BT doesn't mean that we can't get by without you.

I agree , you have all turned into negative nancys.

However the topic is good for discussion.
I think we should have one server for MH and one for Coop MH.
The #2 server has a password so no racers or frag hogs will show up.
Your free to play however you like there.
Enjoy what we have going and come up with some ways to build upon it.

Does any one have any ideas how #2 can be improved?
I sent a PM to a person i think will make the no score announcement mod.
I would like to have players see their own score but not the others.
What do you think?

I think we're all a little confused on the name of this post "New Rule".
When in fact it's actually an "old rule" isn't it?
In all definition the game MH is designed as a team game.
And that is something a lot of people have lost site of.
Luckily I'm not good at this game and thanks to kort we now have a official team server.

I would say it's a start, not a solution, to something a lot of you forgot about or could care less about.
It's a start to playing the game the way it was designed to be played.
Sure there are many ways to play MH and that interpretation is up to the player.
But kort has provided some of us a server with the intent on team play.

And as for you and matrix walking hand in hand...doubt it.

Not entirely true if Hermskii wants it to be played as a team game thus making MHM a team server then there's enough admins to force players to play that way or in other words just kick the players that cant follow the server rules.....

Alright, I've a few things to say here.

Number one, never have I BRAGGED about being Herm's nephew. There is a thin line between boasting and informing, and I may have gotten close to that line, but never crossed it.

Number two, I never said so bluntly, "I am better than you." I said, "I'm willing to bet that others' see me as a more rounded player than you."

Number three, I like Kchan's idea for coop play, but MHM2 just seems different than MHM, I like the multiple gamestyles, but something just isn't right. (I'll PM you Kchan, and go into more detail.)

Number three, there is a way to FORCE teamplay, but not a practical way.
DM is right, if we wanted to force teamplay, we could. And anyone who has played along side me knows I would feel completely justified kicking a soloist. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see more teamplay, but forcing it is something I'd rather not have to do.


And for you Nali, beautiful attempt. Since I think we are sitting here bickering at each other solely for the reason that we are bored, I will just call off the arguement. All I ask is that you shapen yourself up online. You know what I mean.


And yes, there is a lot of complaining going on, mostly because of me.

I am taking that off of there. Nobody wants to play against bots. I will leave one slot open for DM though. My friend is just getting in to UT and he needs some schooling in DM sometimes.

I think this second server will stay passworded for only the MHM people.
I think that way it will never have heavy traffic and people can play how ever they want to there with out likelihood of others ruining the fun.
It can also be used for special events or something.
These are just ideas i am thinking about. nothing is solid yet.

Lots of posts in here today. Lots of emotion and strong feelings as well. I like that people are telling us how they feel here and demanding change. I'll give my opinion now if ya'll have a minute.

FIRST lets all try not to cuss on the forum as well as on the server. Next, lets all agree that even when we disagree we don't need to engage in any personal attacks though I support defending yourself. If you have to, take the higher road and make the original attacker look bad in my eyes please.

Now lets see...

So much has been said here already. Without me saying I will or won't do stuff to the MHM server I want to focus for right now on the amount of players. Yes, the server maxed out and does often. It isn't the max out that crashes it but rather a dirty install that I just don't have time to reinstall. Yes, the lag gets up there as soon as I the total amount of players on CG and MHM reach near the number of 16 total players. That max's out my upload speed and everyone then suffers lagg. I'm not against reducing the max player load but I can say that the server will fall down the master server listing and fewer players will join overall even during slow times which will me your chances of playing by yourself will increase dramatically if I reduce the max player load. So give me your thoughts now. Should I reduce the max player load and if so, what should the max players allowed be?

To LIGHTLY touch on another subject about mandating team play, I'm not against it by any means but I won't support it either. I'll resist telling you why for now and ask that everyone help Kort set up her server to do these things you want to see happen in regards to forcing team play and using passwords to get on it and using no scoring mods. These are all great ideas! So help her and discuss this here and watch as the server mutates into what you want it to be.

For right now, I'm only willing to adjust the amount of players at one time on my server. I have even put that stupid Godz map back on like many of you requested. You may not actually see it until the server crashes and reboots again. I want to be clear that I'm not ignoring your request. I want to give you what you want but I want you to see what your getting before I actually have to sit down and make it work. Kort can make these adjustments much faster and smoother on her server than I can.

Lastly, Matrix is my nephew and I love him very much but don't think that I wouldn't let a big dog bite him if I saw him teasing the big dog first. Matrix has handled himself pretty good for being a punk 14 year old. Yes, he has made mistakes and I have chewed his butt for them in private messages every time. He'll still make a few more mistakes here and there but we all make mistakes. Soon he'll be far more mature and diplomatic instead of being so polarized and idealistic. One isn't better than the other but one handles stuff better than the other. In short, Matrix is my nephew and he knows that you players and this game are thicker than blood to me and that I'll take the side of whoever is trying to fairly improve UT and this server over my own blood relatives when it comes to this game and this server. Matrix is more important to me than UT if I have to choose one over the other naturally. So I'm telling you here and now not to pull any punches when fighting with my young punk nephew because of me but if you do lay into him please be able to support your argument to me so I can join you and beat him down. If you are wrong, I'll take my nephew's side and he and I will use the Dark-Side of the Force to rule the galaxy!

i think the despute with me and matrix is pretty much over now, we played the other night and got along not at 1st cos of a random mom comment he decided too make but after that we were helping each other out fecting the instagib and completing a bunnytrack...
