hmm im a bit new at routers and such but im happy this has been posted cuase i too am interested. Hmm well it sounds like it is deffinatly your router if you can see the game on a lan. some port must not be opened or you do not have 10 opened. Im guessing you already know about having 10 ports opened. HMM better w8 for kortnichan or Hermskii to help you they probably know but they dont come on till later........

I get similar problems but my server runs fine. - (no errors)
It just is not seen out on the master server either like yours.
I can play on the LAN tab but nothing on the other tabs.
I did hear that some router/modems (mine is both) do not like to "loop" back so others can see your server but you cannot.
What ISP do you have? (I have frontiernet)
And a SpeedStream 6520 router/modem.

speedstream 5100 modem if this helps you. and when i run my server it works fine.
You've tried it with all of the ports opened? hmm this one is kinda tough although isnt one of the ports made to connect to the master server? its lik port 7778 or 7779 maybe one of those ports for some weird reason is being blocked.

You said that you get an earlier problem when you delete that file? what is the error you should post it! maybe there is a problem with the OBban. also can you explain what the obban file is im at abit of a loss. maybe you can get rid of the obban and we can figure out that other problem and it might fix it? who knows lol

Geee. I hate to even get involved while my servers are giving me so much trouble but the first thing I noticed is you mentioned UTDC which isn't in my how to manual anywhere. You also mentioned something about Baiter. I know there is a baiter addition of some sort of a UT install out there. We aren't the creators of the document.
You did come to the right place to get help. I do feel we'll be able to help you too until you get into that UTDC stuff. Please tell us what "set " of instructions you followed to a tee was called? Did you get them here? If not, please go to www.hermskii.com and select the how to manual link on the bottom left side. I wrote it a long time ago but it has been wildly successful for folks over the years.
Before you try it, please use your add remove programs and remove all installed UT content from your PC. Then reboot and go back to where you had originally installed UT and delete the remaining folders. Then start my manual and follow it closely. Let us know what happens. Later!
