Linksys WRT54GV8 Can't see the server from behind router

Ok, Admin for our clan is trying to get a 2k4 server set up at home behind this Linksys WRT54GV8 router he hasn't been able to get it to show on the internet server browser. Anyone here use that model ? or any other liksys router that can give some ideas on how to get it set up?

He is running a 2k4 server herm. I don't think it would use the exact same ports. I could be wrong though.

It is not just about port forwarding!
I have tried many portforwarding settings - No dice!
I have also read about modem/routers that don't let you see your server on the net even though it may be there for all others to see.
They don't like to "Loop" back!
I still have to test mine to see if that is the case.
Mine is a SpeedStream 6520.
Mine is one that is difficult to crack - Your admin, Chef, may be experiencing what I am going through.

Let me know if he cracks his problems!

The ports are the same for UT on WIN2000. The game dictates the ports, not the OS. True also that often others can see the server while you can't. There is a way to see it when you can't see it from the master server list. Now I just have to find that link that tells you how. Later!

Also -> So, if it says in the server log that it has successfully reconciled with the master server(s), then it should be working?
Also, there are 3 "master" servers - The first 2 were successful and the last one said it failed - I believe that is because it (the last one name escapes me) isn't in existance anymore?!?!?

Yes, the last one is MPlayerand it is gone now. I have replaced it with Qtracker. Here is a copy of the line I now use:

ServerActors=IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master.qtracker.com MasterServerPort=27900
