Hello and welcome to our forum 64fanatic. What is the Monster Hunter mutator 2.9? I have never heard of it. Can you give us a link to it so I can look it over and maybe determine what type of issue you are having. Did you add the mutator as a server package in your UT.ini before you ran it as a server?

OK, you are using UTJMH 2.9 which is a mod designed to regenerate ammo and health for players on hard maps. Yes, it offers options to add certain weapons to random players based on time and all sorts of other cool stuff so you can modify stuff like how much health a player gets when they eat a Nali Fruit.

I don't use it so I can't suggest settings. Here is the readme for it in the event you don't have it:

- What is this?
It is Mutator which makes MOD of UT, and the game of MonsterHunt showy.
When it is used in games other than MonsterHunt, it does not know what becomes. Recommendation is not carried out, either.

-- Function --
- It is HP automatic recovery (5-15) for every second. It recovers to 500 (underwater, it does not recover).
- When a monster is pushed down, sound, such as Killing Spree, comes out. (UT 2k3)
- If a monster is pushed down, at the time of HP recovery (5-15) and a start (at the time of revival), GES, a shock, a pulse, Ropper, minigun, Flak, RocketLauncher, and any one sniper rifle are random, and it can be given.
An initial life is decided by the got item. (The life has become lowness, so that it is strong)
- If HP was less than 500, MedBox etc. could take the life recovery item.
- An enemy's long distance attack is random and changes. (at the time of UTJ StrongMonster Mutator effective)
- An enemy's offensive strength has risen. (at the time of UTJ StrongMonster Mutator effective)
- If an enemy's HP is 500000 or more, it becomes 1/10. (at the time of UTJ StrongMonster Mutator effective)
- The damage of a player has always increased 1.5 times. (They are 3 times by the time of Amp)
- Every about 5 minutes, it is random and Redeemer is passed to someone. (option)
- Every about 7 minutes, it is random +500 Health to someone. (option)
- The damage of monsters is set to 0.(monster vs monster)
- Warning comes out of a team damage.
- Enemy's life is seen.
- The anti boost function is added(option)
* A numerical value is the thing of a UTJ server.

- Usage
u file and an int file are moved to system of ut.
move uax file to sounds of ut.
Since there is "UTJ MonsterHunt ver 2.9" "UTJStrongMonster ver 2.9" in the portion which chooses mutator
These are chosen and it confirms.

- Setup
A setup can be changed by changing a setting file (ini).

It does not become effective, even if it will choose by mutator, if this is not specified.

AmpTime=300
It is automatic and time to give Amp is specified. A unit is a second.

kakuTime=361
The time of random Redeemer is specified. A unit is a second.

HealthTime=920
The time of random health is specified. A unit is a second.

bUseRandomWeapon=1
It is random at the time of a start or revival, and it is specified to be it whether arms are given or not.

bGiveArmor=1
It is random at the time of a start or revival, and it is specified to be it whether armor is given or not.

bUseRegenAmmo=1
It is automatic and specifies whether a cartridge is recovered or not.

bUseRegenHealth=1
It is automatic and specifies whether a life is recovered or not.

HealthRegenPerSec=20
The amount of recovery of a life is specified. Since it is random, it is maximum.

HealthRegenPerSecMin=5
The amount of the minimum recovery of a life is specified.

MaxRegenHealth=500
a life -- automatic -- the maximum -- it specifies where it recovers

MaxHealth=5000
a life -- the maximum -- it specifies where it recovers

HealthRegenPerKill=20
The life obtained when an enemy is beaten is specified. Since it is random, it is maximum.

HealthRegenPerKillMin=5
When an enemy is beaten, the life which carries out the minimum recovery is specified.

bUseWarnTeamDamage=1
It warns of a team damage.

bUseMonsterHUD=1
Monster's HP is displayed.

bUseUTJTimer=1
Random Reddemer and random Health are made effective.

DefaultHealth=200
It is an initial life.

bUseAntiBoost=True
Players can't Boost if bAntiBoost is True.

[UTJMH29.UTJNaliFruit]
MaxHealth=500
When a player has few Health than MaxHealth which can obtain NaliFruit.

[UTJMH29.UTJHealth]
MaxHealth=500
When a player has few Health than MaxHealth which can obtain MedBox and etc..(UT health type).

[UTJMH29.UTJUnrealHealth]
MaxHealth=500
When a player has few Health than MaxHealth which can obtain UnrealHealth.


So that is all I can tell you. I don't know why the hud disappears. Sounds a little like a software firewall is causing this. Do you use Norton or ZoneAlarm for a internet firewall?

Hello Welcome!
i am currently running utjmh right now, and i am running the 2.9 version i believe.
Maybe u can copy paste the utjmh ini and i can figure out whats wrong, it works on my server with the player huds, the monster huds, the random deemer, health ,etc, all working fine!

*NOTE*
all of the health settings are set for my server requirements, they should have nothing to do with your probelm, but in any case if nothing works try copying my ini into yours. this includes the amp time, deemer time, none of that should be ur problem but nevertheless, sometimes it is worth a try!

your problem is probably that u dont have this server package or u have it in the wrong spot:

make sure it is under:
[Engine.GameEngine]

and it should be"
ServerPackages=UTJMH29
try all of that out, and if it doesnt work im sure someone here can help u!
and if they cant, then hold out till sunday when i will return! lol
