Hermskii earlier you said something about files being deleted in 30 days. not anymore. Download this and it will convert them to files that wont be auto-deleted.

Instructions

1. Open the Cached manager

2. Select your "Cache" folder (should be something like C:\UnrealTournament\Cache)

3. Highlight the files

4. Add


It will take a moment depending on how many cached files you have.

I knew about the program. I was trying to help you actually. You can also set it in your UT.ini file to purge cached files in 9999 days. Then they won't purge for 27 years and 34 days! But you won't be able to play the maps you downloaded unless you use a tool like yours. Later!

I had a look in my UT2k4 cache folder and found almost 500 files in it. In my UT 99 folder there were many temp files, and many more in the cache folder. I decided to delete all of them so that I could get rid of now unused files sooner than the six months I had set. Almost 1500 hundred files in all.

Guess what? My vid problem which almost always begins after playing UT is greatly reduced in frequency and severity. Figure that one out.
I'm thinking of reinstalling both games to see what that does.

Actually another good one for cache is Cache Cleaner 3 & you don't need to put in 9999 days, just set it to 0 & it'll never go away.
